For real?! I swear we have some goddamn embarrassing pockets of fans ie/ the KD incident *ahem but we'll just forget about that.

I really, really hope more and more positive fans start showing support on his IG.

We will look back on the “Barnes era” as a very dark time in Raptor history

we never had a 13 games stretch of hope from him did we?

Been a 4 season stretch of hope with just as many wins, lol.

This city is just plain stupid

Read on Twitter

We got a lot of casual fans after the ring. Talking to people in person about the Raptors really shows.

lmao when you're at the draft watch party thing and go "who?!?" even though he's been in that range for the whole year

same with that brooklyn fan who didn't know who Demin was... Like these guys weren't even in europe, if you don't know you don't care.

10. Collin Murray-Boyles
South Carolina | PF
Top 100: No. 14
Stats: No. 11

Consensus: 2.5 WARP

Murray-Boyles' well-rounded game actually produces the most statistical strengths for any prospect (seven), just ahead of Flagg (six). Shooting as one of Murray-Boyles' two weaknesses is a concern, particularly because he's unlikely to play primarily at center after measuring 6-foot-6½ in bare feet at the NBA draft combine. But Murray-Boyles is an outstanding finisher (62% on 2s) who stuffs the stat sheet.

Question: Is his first name Collin Murray, and his last name Boyles? Or is his first name Collin, and his last name Murray-Boyles?

The reason I ask is because of KAT. I did not realize his first name was Karl Anthony. I thought his last name was Anthony-Towns.

It's the casuals who want attention. Like those people who go to the draft in person just to boo and say who the hell is this guy. Like why are you at the draft or watching if you don't even know the prospects.

Because he has to develop a shot from deep.

I have my questions regarding fit, but it's usually a good sign when our FO acts so confidently. It would have been very easy to just draft KM or Bryant. I respect the confidence

Except, Masai seemed to feel the need to ask him 3 times whether he was doing good or not. Lol.

lol! I think its just a verbal tic. I meant the pick itself. The reaction that some are having reminds me of the puzzlement ppl had when we drafted Pascal over Deyonta Davis and Skal

The reaction is pretty much the same reaction we get every year. People are upset that their favourite mocked guy or the most hyped up players didn't get selected.

This pick may surprise some people, but I had Murray-Boyles as the No. 6 prospect on my board. I think he’s the best defender in the draft, and his offensive game is coming along enough to be projectible as a quality role player at worse. The lefty needs to lose some weight to move from a college center to a pro forward and has to develop his right hand and his 3-point shot, but both his feet and feel are elite.

Vecenie does a good job on his preview which someone posted. Had him 8 on his big board but said if he was working for a team, he would pick him anywhere between 5 and out of the lottery depending on the situation, calling out the coaching staff of the team and the players around him as the biggest driver on what spot he would advocate for him.

FO believes in Darko and his ability to get the best out of him. And for all his faults, Darko has shown he is great at developing guys.

He's an absolute beast and has an outlier defensive skillset that will make him playable right away.

We're forcing Barnes, Ingram, IQ, and the others to be spacers. CMB is going to be a crazy good small ball C. Barnes next to him could be an elite defense.

Add in Mogbo and its a problem. If these guys can develop together with Walter and Dick we would have a bright future.

Masai saw Caruso guarding Jokic and CMB was a done deal.

He bolsters our bench next season - Dick, Walters, Murray-Boyles, Shead, Mogbo, Ochai...gonna be a battle for minutes.

Boucher is gone for sure.
