This pick may surprise some people, but I had Murray-Boyles as the No. 6 prospect on my board. I think he’s the best defender in the draft, and his offensive game is coming along enough to be projectible as a quality role player at worse. The lefty needs to lose some weight to move from a college center to a pro forward and has to develop his right hand and his 3-point shot, but both his feet and feel are elite.
I dont see the silver lining in this
Is there a reason why he dropped
Vecenie does a good job on his preview which someone posted. Had him 8 on his big board but said if he was working for a team, he would pick him anywhere between 5 and out of the lottery depending on the situation, calling out the coaching staff of the team and the players around him as the biggest driver on what spot he would advocate for him.
FO believes in Darko and his ability to get the best out of him. And for all his faults, Darko has shown he is great at developing guys.
