As a Bucks fan the Celtics were really scary the last two seasons but next season I have 0 fear of them. They’ll probably still be in the playoff mix but I really doubt they’re a top 4 seed

I’m still in shock over these moves by Milwaukee. Hat tip to them for trying something dramatic and unexpected. Turner makes a lot of sense since he’s basically a younger version of Brook Lopez for them. I’ll be very curious to see how the rest of the roster takes shape.

But in a weak East, they are in a surprisingly good position given where they were 9 months ago. Just need to find a way to get some help in the backcourt.

let's take a sec to acknowledge that Myles Turner was on the team that went to 7 in the NBA finals and left them to join the Bucks

They sort of had a rivalry too, these past couple of seasons.from the in season tourney final, the issue with the game ball, Pacers mocking Dame etc

That's pretty weak actually, i don't like it at all but this is 2025, expectations are very low to begin with. When players make so much money, 90% are just gonna be about the money. They're not in it for pride anymore, that's for sure (most players anyway)

It's one of the few cases where the short term gains are worth it for the long term salary pain. Would have been a tough offseason for them if they couldn't pull off a move like this.
