And who are you again? Keep walking Homer

Beal is not a pariah. He was actually a professional last year. Something Durant and Booker weren't/ Those two were the pariahs of the team

Jeezus Bobby… do we need to have that discussion again …for the third time? Guess if you keep saying it, it becomes believable… for you.

No matter tho, if that was happening it would have happened. Just get this pariah
gone. He clogs up the roster minutes and gives us nothing more than what we get from 3-4 others. Send him home even if we don’t waive him. I’d rather play Brae

I’m pretty sure once the season starts, his salary for this yr is set, then they can waive and stretch the remainder without his cooperation at a lower amount. Read it once but can’t find the source. We’ll see what happens. I just don’t think he has any value to us and just an annoying reminder how we got in this mess

Jesus Frank
do we have to have that conversation again about Yabusele who you want to sign and he actually SUCKS as a player

You have been all over Yabusele - and you said it again earlier in this thread and he is nto a difference maker

he wouldn't add one gawd damn win to the column - thats the reality. NOT ONE SINGLE WIN!

Doesn't matter anymore. He signed a two year gig with the Knicks.

Beal really thinks he will have value next season? Does he really believe he will get another contract?

Dame is a better player and will be available around the time Beal is an expiring.

I think the Suns will make their moves on/after July 6th. My guess is that the official signing date is holding up some already agreed upon moves.

I don't want to rain on your parade but 99.9% of the movement you are seeing now is "agreed upon" moves that can't happen until July 6. I don't think there are many (if any) things that would be waiting to be announced until that date...it's not really a hurdle without other extenuating circumstances.

Beal is a good player - I personally think he would be good for the Suns as a spark off the bench, and I doubt we could get anything close to his value if we trade him. I would like to just keep him and send off Grayson instead. See how he plays without Durant and an opportunity to try to rebuild his value for his future contract. Next year we could evaluate if his value improves as a expiring contact and with another year in an improved system.
Expendable in my opinion: Grayson, O'Neale, Richards
Keep: Oso and Beal

I can feel someone would be unhappy with the minutes on the floor.

Indeed, Rockets are highly overrated. People don't realize this kind of roster construction never works. Jabari Smith minutes will be capped due to KD, Sengun, Steven Adams, Capela, and Thompson.

Eason? He's barely gonna get more than 15 minutes and he's a legit starter on most teams.

It's gonna be an unhappy bunch alongside a nonchalant don't care mentality KD. This team will crash and burn.

I hope your last sentence becomes reality. However, I dont think the first part is necessarily true, as they are not done yet - they seem to be too smart to leave their roster this unbalanced. Plus they have too many players now I think, so they will have to trade some guys into cap space, or buyouts.
If they buy out Landale (most likely, he is the most limited, and they have 3 other C's), they will still likely trade (now or at the deadline) some of their forwards for guards. They only have FVV, Sheppard and Whitmore and Holiday who have their own flaws for sure. Meanwhile at SF/PF they do have the logjam you write up there. I believe they can get a very quality guard depending they trade Jabari - KD/Eason/Thomson/DFS/Green are good enough to cover 3 and 4 positions, and they might even try go double-big with Sengun as PF... If they only put Eason on the market (maybe with a pick or 2) they can still get a quality guard, I'm pretty sure.

Other random stuff: kinda like the NY offseason - they needed bench production, they got Yabu (+9net rating in Philly last year!) and Clarkson... Heck, even Thibs might have played these 2 dudes off the bench, and he might still have a job. :D Yea, the KAT problem and the Mitch injuries will still be there, but they were not a fataly flawed team, and addressed their issues. Let's see if it works. Anything is possible in the east.

Holy crap.
I'm glad he got his 2nd contract then.
And that's why you should trust people when they show their true face.

Thank you, Sarver.
And then we got another franchise killer move by trading everything KD.

I wonder how true the story was of Ayton for Turner - at the time? The Suns cap would have allowed them to take back Turner easily with Ayton going to Indy. I think if I remember the Suns wanted more back or maybe Jones just turned it down

Completely agree, hopefully we can move off Grayson and co to get under so we don't have to hamstring ourselves down the line by stretching/waiving beal

I am pretty sure that the Suns would have done the same with Beal if not for that dead money from Nassir Little.

Ayton, Clarkson, Cole Anthony, Lillard...the list goes on and on.

We will see if there are some Beal news today or tomorrow.

I'm just glad we won't be forced to stretch his full contract since it's not legal. Saves ourselves from ourselves. Would still rather hang onto him.

Actually, we he's willing to take a big paycut so we can waive him, I would hope we just waive him for 2 years and eat the 40mil or so per. That way we are still under the 2nd apron at least.

For vet min, sure. But he's out for this season so it's a wasted roster spot. Rather just wait until next summer and circle back if it makes sense.

Saw something that the Heat will probably go after him.

As for the 2nd apron, I saw something that during this time period, the "over MLE players" thing doesn't count.

I think the problem was that we were having such a good season that they didn't want to break it up.
Or maybe that was Sabonis and the Turner thing was in the summer.

And I think he is still going back to Europe - so he might get his 8m salary to go back home.
