Three centers and Sengun,
Then KD and Finney-Smith.
Thomsn and Eason, Whitmore, VV, Holiday, Green...
I can feel someone would be unhappy with the minutes on the floor.
Indeed, Rockets are highly overrated. People don't realize this kind of roster construction never works. Jabari Smith minutes will be capped due to KD, Sengun, Steven Adams, Capela, and Thompson.
Eason? He's barely gonna get more than 15 minutes and he's a legit starter on most teams.
It's gonna be an unhappy bunch alongside a nonchalant don't care mentality KD. This team will crash and burn.
I hope your last sentence becomes reality. However, I dont think the first part is necessarily true, as they are not done yet - they seem to be too smart to leave their roster this unbalanced. Plus they have too many players now I think, so they will have to trade some guys into cap space, or buyouts.
If they buy out Landale (most likely, he is the most limited, and they have 3 other C's), they will still likely trade (now or at the deadline) some of their forwards for guards. They only have FVV, Sheppard and Whitmore and Holiday who have their own flaws for sure. Meanwhile at SF/PF they do have the logjam you write up there. I believe they can get a very quality guard depending they trade Jabari - KD/Eason/Thomson/DFS/Green are good enough to cover 3 and 4 positions, and they might even try go double-big with Sengun as PF... If they only put Eason on the market (maybe with a pick or 2) they can still get a quality guard, I'm pretty sure.
Other random stuff: kinda like the NY offseason - they needed bench production, they got Yabu (+9net rating in Philly last year!) and Clarkson... Heck, even Thibs might have played these 2 dudes off the bench, and he might still have a job.

Yea, the KAT problem and the Mitch injuries will still be there, but they were not a fataly flawed team, and addressed their issues. Let's see if it works. Anything is possible in the east.
