Hell of an offseason for them, especially considering the cap hell they were in.

Hey Hey, PWat will be getting a ton of minutes off the bench. He's already an amazing perimiter and help defender. Gonna be interesting to see what the front court rotaiton will look like eventually. High hopes for Holmes but he's not played an NBA game yet

It's unbelievable. The excuse that this roster was stuck and no one could be moved at all proved to be false. What exactly were they paying Booth for? Denver traded one rotation player for four in less than 24 hours.

THJ is on the downside of his career, but he can still shoot, and he'll be a backup. Denver added three solid veterans to the worst bench in the league. To go along with one of the best starting fives in the league.

Feeling pretttyyyyy good.

Yeah it´s really weird looking back. It was each season like "we lost again another key player from last year, but look we signed another guy that was really good 5 seasons ago. And Vlatko Cancar will be back from injury as well, that´s almost like signing a new player." It felt like Denver is Chernobyl in 1986. Sorry, can´t really expect that actual NBA players in their prime want to play there, just because they have the best player in the league and are a title contender^^.

Not a big fan of THJ because he's a shot jacker and his dad is a pain in the neck when things don't go Jr's way.

That said, he can shoot and if he sticks to his role he can help.

Team looks pretty set although they could use another PG. Maybe they feel Pickett is ready for steady minutes.

Overall, great job by the two new personnel guys.
Jokic 31/21/22
Luka & Oscar = 5 x 27/8/8
The Brodie = All-out energy

Saw a stat that he shot 63% on wide open three last year. Great fit for them. He’s going to get the Strawther minutes so a huge improvement for them even though he’s not as good as he was a few years ago.

These deals would never happen under the Malone/Booth regime.

I won’t be shocked if he’s not even in the rotation come playoff time.

The only thing he does is shoot and score, he’s really bad at everything else. And the issue is, he doesn’t even shoot and score at an average level anymore.

Over his last 4 years, his shooting splits are 40/36/81 (54 TS%).

Dont get me wrong not saying this is a bad signing, it’s not like Denver has a ton of money to throw around. Just saying I don’t think this one moves the needle much. Again won’t be shocked if he’s not even in the rotation by the time the playoffs come around.

Sorry guys but I don't think they got any better really.

I guess they can rest Jokic a little now, that's definitely important.

I'm utterly shocked at how Denver turned around their fortunes in basically one day of free agency. The key was getting off that MPJ contract.

Give these guys their flowers. They've done more in the past 2 days than Calvin Booth did in 2 years as GM.

Remember all these Nuggets signings and trades. I'm gonna use them for ammo when the Jokic fanboys blame everyone but Jokic in the playoffs again.

Y'all are on record the Nuggets won the off-season. No more excuses about Jokic doesn't have help.

Keep that same energy come playoffs. :D

I mean, Denver is going to play their main guys heavy minutes in the playoffs. These small moves are to ensure they don't have to play Jokic and Murray 40 minutes during games in December like they had to last year.

Nuggets fans are so excited because of what we had to deal with the past two years. On the outside, these are small deals. To us, not having 1/3 of the roster composed of utter bums is a relief.

I love the Cam Johnson trade, but these other moves aren't really doing it for me. There's a reason Brown and THJ went for the minimum.

Still crossing my fingers for CP3

Nuggets making moves....

The pecking order is pretty clear right now in the west.

OKC, Rockets and Nuggets are top 3 seeds and ahead by a wide margin

It´s a really good deal for vet minimum. THJ is a proven player, there is a reason he has averaged around 25-30 minutes on each team he was on. Having him as 7th or 8th best player on their team is a massive upgrade to their current roster. They only had 7 players on their roster last season that averaged more than 14 minutes and their main issue the last few seasons was that they had 0 depth. There was nobody they could put on the court that could really give them something besides their 6-7 rotation players.

THJ is somebody that can give you 15-20 points from the bench on a good night, they didn´t have that. Everybody was on Jokic during the playoffs for not scoring enough and when you checked the box score it turned out he "only" had 20 points. The issue was more that they had almost no players that are capable of getting you double digits each night. And if you then have a situation as with Michael Porter who was horrible in half of the games and can´t even replace him, you won´t win a lot of playoff series.

Oh I totally get that. I just think Hardaway is closer to just being another bum on the bench for Denver is all. Like I think there is a better chance he’s just the guard version of Saric (somewhat recognizable name that is just trash now) for Denver this year. I think Strawther is the better player and will be ahead of him in the rotation by the end of the year.

Again not saying this is a bad move. I totally get the limitations this front office was handed. I just think this ends up being a nothing move is all.

If he gets hot he can swing a game, not sure they need him to be super consistent.
