Despite not getting a lotto pick because we just had to win the playin (if you ignore we might of got the Mavs luck) we had a lotto quality rookie fall to us and now own our pick in the next upcoming draft. Now we just have to focus on developing the young guns and hopefully getting a lotto pick next year.

It remains to be seen if well actually do that, but its absolutely what we should do imo.

The mavs luck?

Nothing lucky about what the mavs did. A handshake agreement with Silver to trade an all nba star player to the biggest market and we will get you cooper flagg. Oh and by the way youre welcome for paige bueckers that one was free on the house

Had we kept our pick we wouldve picked between 10-12

Talk about mismanaging assets....the Pacers just lost Myles Turner to their biggest rival for nothing.

The Warriors season seems to be DOA....they aren't beating OKC or HOU.

Kinda funny how we would’ve been hope trafficking him to our pick around 8-10 if we ended up in the lotto, and we got dude at 20 regardless.

Huge L for Indy, who do they have at the 5 to replace him? I guess they know they’re taking a step back without Hali for the year.

Wonder what Giannis thinks of the acquisition really. Bucks don’t look great. Does a starting 5 of Kevin Porter, Gary Trent, Kyle Kuzma and Myles Turner move him at all? It shouldn’t.

Their tank is empty. They need major magic.

The only saving grace is somehow the Pacers had the foresight to trade back for their 2026 first in the middle of the Finals before Hali achilles popped.

If wed lost the playin and picked 11th, Im sure we wouldve picked him at that slot too. He was BPA for a stretch there.

Weve really had some lotto luck.

Pacers might have to bring back Thomas Bryant to log major minutes at the 5 lol.

I missed the news yesterday that Tyus Jones went to the Magic 1 year, 7 mil.

Orlando is going for a top 4 seed in the East.

Thinking on this more. A $22m dollar cap hit for 5yrs for the privilege to sign Myles Turner for like $25m per year is certainly a decision. That’s pretty horrendous mismanagement right there.

Its sad. As soon as they moved Jrue things went south fast. Theyre still spiraling.

I fully disagree that the LeBron stuff is fantasy, I’ve been watching him and his people move now for 20 years. The way they put out what they put out the words they said, the respect given to the Lakers organization, it all points to an exit, but trying to do it in a stand up way.

This is how you know its fantasy. When has doing it in a stand up way ever been LeBron's M.O.? Same guy who informed Cleveland's FO he was leaving on national tv (great theatre fwiw). Same guy who sent us on a wild goose chase of preferred free agents to pursue while he was setting up backdoor meetings with Dan Gilbert and informing Cavs players he was going there. Same guy whose agent allegedly gave the Lakers advance notice of his statement on him opting into his contract yet "knew nothing" about AD being traded. This is all part of their circus.

I’d like to think that at over 40 years old that LeBron had learned from previous stops, plus he needs the Lakers to work with him to get what he wants.
