Not sure I care what CP3 wants.

Over under before LeBron demands a trade?

Ha, ha! Now the likelyhood of LeBron wanting out increases.

LeBron for Beal?

Lol, not happening.

At the end of the day I think that it's a LONG shot that LeBron is traded and I think Rich Paul and him are just putting a bit extra pressure to their FO to put a contender around him and Doncic.

I believe that he doesn't "love" to be a secondary ball handler next to Doncic...but he needs him at his old age.

He would be the primary ball handler on the Suns. Last year of his career on the Suns - on opportunity to show the world he could do better than Durant, on opportunity to do what has never been done before, and an opportunity to add a huge acomplishment to the GOAT debate (would change my mind if he could advance this team). This team is missing balance - a point guard that's also a power forward, that's a leader, primary ball handler that can play D when engaged. We have the supporting cast (finally) - just missing a rare puzzle piece. LA would be better with Beal (than Lebron) now that they have Luka. Definitely a Long Shot - highly unlikely. But fun thought exercise.

Maybe CP3 is highly unlikely, per Gambo - because like you said, the Suns will get a different lead ball handler :D

I mean, for the Suns - its a no-brainer... they get an expiring contract for Beal that would improve the team. It is not going to happen but it would be a no-brainer

Well damn. Never even got to know the kid

Jay King: Jalen Bridges has been added to the Celtics summer league roster, I’ve been told, and will be going to camp with the team in the fall with a chance to make the roster. He played for Phoenix on a two-way contract as a rookie. – via x.com

So for Beal to be made whole in the $110m - the buyout would have to be $97-98m

I would be super surprised for Beal to give up a single dollar for a buyout. I don’t know why Gambo keeps talking about a buyout. Of course there are a bunch of teams who would take him if he were bought out. The real question is how do you get to a buyout which only Beal can answer.

I assume you mean steal for Ayton because he gets another contract.

I think Beal for Lebron straight-up is a fair trade

MF would still drop like 20 5 and 5

I would be pretty annoyed if CP3 really wanted to come here (if true, could be just leveraging LAC for more money) and the only reason he didn't was because the Suns said no. Like what is the downside?

Rozier is so bad, and Wiggins doesn't have heart. I actually think I'd prefer Beal to be honest. Oh... and Rozier & Wiggins make more than Beal combined, so can't do that anyway.

If we can get under the 2nd apron via a Grayson/Royce deal, we'll be able to aggregate salary then you just have to do Beal/Oso for Rozier/Wiggins.

I don't want to see Oso go but with his skill set, he can't really play the 4 which means he'll be behind Williams, Maluach and possibly Richards if he's still around. Those remaining minutes at the 5 might even got to Fleming. I just see Oso being pushed further back into the depth chart with all the recent moves and he's potentially redundant.

Oso doesn't work with Beal -- the two trade machines I tried. Suns are a bit short
its just a tough mix now with Robinson gone. Even tried Richards/Beal for Wiggins/Rozier - didn't work
Dunn for Oso - didn't work

Wiggins would make 27m less than Beal next year so if you could so - just don't see a match anymore

Works on Spotrac. Only obstacle is the aggregation rule. $55.62m outgoing and $54.86m incoming.

Not hard when you only give 50% effort while playing. I mean MJ could have played till 60 if he only played the offensive end of the court and stood around on defense like LeBron. LeBron just collecting stats while have ZERO impact on the game at this point.

Suns fans built him up pretty good last season but man did he have a quiet season

I was one of them. I was so sure his combination of shooting and defense would be enough for him to find a role on the team. Neither skills really showed out in the few opportunities he had though. Kinda disappointed really

I see comments like that from Gambo and I see a front office that is entirely clueless. There were ways to get below the apron levels. Micic, Martin and Richards would have got them under the first apron I believe which means combining players to make trades.

I guess we shall see but Nick Richards - when you have Oso, Malauch and Williams - seems like enough. Take the second round pick and move on

If you were to ask me. Micic was the one that should've been waived. That way we get the instant salary write off, we don't get Williams (and all the issues that introduces) and we get a whole bunch of picks back into our mini war chest. Richards to me is just a great value contract and I know he's not some high end C but he comes in and gives you a double double in under 30mpg. All that for $5m a year.

Once Tyrese Haliburton went down, however, Indy became vulnerable. “It changed everything,” one league source said Tuesday. Until that moment, ownership was willing to pay luxury tax for the first time in 20 years. – via New York Times

It's so short sighted. I know Hali might not be 100% what he was before when he comes back but like a couple years of tax payments and you get to see if you have a real thing going seems like a small price to pay.

Like the whole 2nd apron and hiking up the repeat tax rates is exactly what you do to disadvantage the teams willing to pay the high price for an expensive roster to allow for a team like the Pacers to come into a level playing field and they are just sabotaging themselves. They haven't been to the Finals in 25 years, THIS is the time to go in, not pull back
