100% I would rather have the trade exception than Monk. That said, I still think we could use one more good rotation worthy player and I think we're flexible enough roster wise (in part because something like Ausar can defend anyone) they it could be anyone from 1-4 that we add to the mix. I don't think we turn someone away because they are 6'3" I think we get whoever we can get that's going to be a decent rotation player for us.
That said, I think Monk is without a doubt overpaid for what he's been producing he's an MLE at best if a FA this summer he might have gotten less than LeVert or Duncan Robinson. He's still a solid rotation player its just 3 years $60+ million a lot especially when teams are up against the luxury tax.
