What would UTA want to send to BOS to not require the pick? SloMo and ????

Re: UTA/MIL/BOS: Simons, Kuzma, picks
I think Milwaukee owes valued but can’t see them further worsening the distant picks. Already owe a swap to Portland that year though, so no need for top 1 protection.. Maybe since the pick already has one layer of swap, Milwaukee would be willing to do it though
Boston fans didn’t want to give up a first when it also included dumping Niang and getting Tyler Smith.. so don’t think the OP will work for Boston.

Re: UTA/MIL/BOS: Simons, Kuzma, picks
Brad Stevens came out yesterday and basically said that they'd consider ducking the tax but ownership told them it's not worth it to give up assets and that resetting repeater rates aren't a priority over having a competitive team when Tatum is back.
I also think the value here is off. MIL is shedding one year of Kuzma for a swap and 2nds. BOS is shedding one year of Simons for a pick that seems likely to convert in the teens. Why does one year of Simons cost so significantly more than one year of Kuzma to dump? I think the cost needs to be split more evenly between those teams.

Think at that point you need to find a different third team that values Simons enough to pay Utah for Boston. Maybe there’s a team that sends a 10-15 mil player to Boston and a 10-15 mil player to Utah.
I just don’t think that team exists.
Milwaukee would be the most desperate, but they shouldn’t use their last first to dump Kuzma. Simons isn’t good enough for that.
Dallas should be desperate, but they think they’re fine going big and hoping it works out..

We would not be interested.

Re: UTA/MIL/BOS: Simons, Kuzma, picks
At the presser yesterday, Brad Stevens said Boston isnt interested in using draft assets to clear money.
Dont think Boston would be interested in this 3-teamer. If Boston trades Niang and/or Hauser i wouldnt be shocked if they'd take Kuzma from Milwaukee for some of the Bucks out yr pick value...

I think that swap has way more upside. Milwaukee has no assets and Giannis will be old then.

Yeah, agreed on all that. It's so close to thinking you can work something out with these teams, but it just doesn't ever really make sense for all sides. Mainly since MIL doesn't have the right level of asset to use as a sweetener.
Might have to look in the other direction - what player IS worth MIL sending their first for that's reasonably available. And can they take Simons+ back as part of that deal. And is there stuff left to dump (somewhat cheaply) to UTA.

Ah, realgm doesn't show that swap. I do not think two layers of swaps is enough value to dump Kuzma. This needs a different team to replace the Bucks if the foundation were reasonable for Boston.
