I am not sure what the process is for replacement players but surely there are more deserving guys than the Miz?

Cristopher Sanchez has 107.2 IP at a 2.59 ERA. Seems like he should be there. But I'm not going to complain

I will say, we can likely kiss a year of service time goodbye for Miz.

Naming anybody to the all star game after 5 appearances is insane lmao

Feels weird to be on the side of a player that a sports league is going out of its way to promote.

That is so freaking crazy. I will say - as a fan on the "right" side of it - good on MLB trying to promote young potential stars. They historically are awful at it, so I tip my cap to them trying to improve.

Love this kid so much. So damn cool (even if it's wild).

All-star rosters in every sport are never 100% most deserving. This will get media buzz.

They didn't add him to sit him. After what he did to the Dodgers, casuals will tune in to see his inning.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I love the MLB ASG, just like I love the WBC. I want to see awesome pitcher v batter matchups. I hope Miz gets in their early before the benches empty. It'd be cool to see him go up against the best of the best.

Just building him up so they can start the Miz leaving Milwaukee rumors. Between him and Giannis we’re gonna get 365 days of being **** on by the media

If you're gonna name Skenes as ASG starter after 11 starts, then why not? There hasn't been a more electric pitcher out there for the last month, which is about a third of the season. I also think it'll generate buzz for the game itself.

On talent of course he's all star caliber but to me you should still have to produce over a longer period of time to earn that honor. 11 starts and 5 starts are very different amounts. Maybe it's an old man telling at clouds take but I'm happy for Mis either way.

To be fair, rewarding someone an all-star position based on scheduling is complete ****. We'd be pissed if it happened to our guy.

I feel like they should have just let the deserving vet in so he can get his nod, then decline, then go find another guy again. Same result, less salty vets (which I get - some have AS bonuses or whatever).

I mean, that literally happened to our guy. Freddy isn't going to pitch, so they let Megill in.
