To be fair, rewarding someone an all-star position based on scheduling is complete ****. We'd be pissed if it happened to our guy.

I feel like they should have just let the deserving vet in so he can get his nod, then decline, then go find another guy again. Same result, less salty vets (which I get - some have AS bonuses or whatever).

I mean, that literally happened to our guy. Freddy isn't going to pitch, so they let Megill in.

But Freddy is still an all-star, who has then declined to participate so they went and got another guy. My understanding is they offered the Philly guy(s), they said they wouldn't pitch, but then instead of saying "ok you're an all-star anyways and we'll go find someone else", they just passed them by. So those guy(s) aren't all-stars just because they weren't available, which yes I think is quite ****.

Phillies players going off on the Mis selection. I feel bad for him in a way. Roberts has defended the selection (which he had nothing to do with) so I'm guessing he'll have him pitch. I just hope he pitches a good inning. And I hope he faces the Phillies when they come to down in September.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Interesting that they optioned McGee & Perkins. Thought Perkins might be up soon. Curious who they call up to replace McGee on friday

May 17 was the cribbage board giveaway night. The cribbage boards have saved the season

Lmao, I retract my previous statement. If they reached out to that many guys and they all turned it down you have to draw a line. However, I can't believe that many guys were like 'nah man, I don't wanna be an All-Star'

Remain steadfast in my support of Mis either way, as I said.

Vaughn could easily suck the rest of the season but for now it's fun. Good timing with Rhys out for awhile.

So what you're saying is now is the perfect window to trade him for another upgrade

I saw something about Roberts saying he was going to pitch Mis around the 5th inning.

If we’re looking to trade him, what kinda prospect or player for player upgrade do you think we could get? Or do people want to keep him.

I also wanna see what we do with Chad Patrick. Feel he’s been too goid to keep down in Triple AAA. Maybe selling Quintana and Cortes for value, get something back for them and bring Patrick up? Feel even then, we have Henderson as a 6th guy in case of injury.
