Last season looked a lot more like RJ Barrett than how he finished the season of the trade.
Last season was a big improvement on New York RJ. He improved in basically all facets of his game minus Free throw shooting, despite being forced into a career high usage rate on a much worse team/supporting cast. There is reason for optimism that efficiency will improve with lesser role and more competitive team. Ideally his 3rd contract will be a lower percentage of the cap to reflect said lesser role, kinda like what happened with wiggins..
That being said i think RJ + 2nds for Allen is more than fair/i have no qualms with what you suggested
