Harden recruiting Beal is hilarious because we know KD signed off on Beal.
How did that turn out?

Booker, Gillespie
Green, Allen
Kuminga, Nigel Hayes, Fleming
Brooks, Dunn, Fleming
Williams, Richards, Maluach
Thats a great team with length, grit, defense, and scoring.

would you do Richards instead of Oso plus Royce since it seems they don't want Allen per Siegel

Even if they are not better than last year, they will for sure be more entertaining.
Can only watch so many ISO plays.
Looking forward to the 28-29 season.

That is a maybe. I think we need RIchards with WIlliams injury and Maluachs development.
I would do Oso, Royce, and a future late first for Kuminga. I like Kuminga.

To retort that. Good players make coaches look good. So on the flip side, Booker hasn’t exactly made any his coaches look good. It’s a two way street. To me, Booker will always just be today’s version of Gilbert Arenas, all points, no substance. I know I’m not alone in this settlement.

Gilbert arenas was an inefficient chucker that had 3 good years. His career arc couldn’t hold books jock strap. If you’re going to keep comparing book to someone try Paul Pierce or Alex English. Like are you stupid enough to not realize we know exactly the type of players you are trying to downplay Bookers career to? I’ve heard you say Zach Lavine, Arenas and a couple others I can’t remember. It’s boring bro. Pack your act up, take your street performance to another corner.

We would need to send more salaries in the trade.

Kuminga is probably going to be in the 25m range
Royce and Richards are about $15, Oso would be $17.
Without them taking Allen - its a tough fit unless Kuminga takes closer to $20m in year 1.
Hard to see a trade unless Allen goes to another team and that team sends a player the Warriors like

My comp is DeMar DeRozan. I guess DeMar is more a SF but both excel at the midrange game, mid 30's from the 3 point line. Defense is average. Though Booker has a higher ppg for his career.

Exceptional comparison. Very similar skill sets. Nearly identical statistics. But Demar has 2 more all star selections but that’s one of the best comparisons I have seen so far.

To be fair to Booker, he would almost certainly be a 7 time all star if he played in the East.

Oh yes, both are similar athletically. And thats fine as they are good basketball players but not the high level elite athletic skills. Like neither are Zach Lavine athletically but I think both are better pure basketball players than Zach.
there are some Booker-stans on twitter that don't like the comparison

Re: The Official 2025 Offseason Thread #4 Free Agency Opens!
Beal's rather disrespectful show towards the organization and fans isn't all that surprising. At least we can now get on with whatever we're putting together and without Beal seeing he was a non factor for us. In a chart I saw, the Offensive Rating for the Suns top unit of Booker, Beal, and Durant was 120.8, which is the same value as it was with just Booker and Durant.
I spoke kindly of him over time with this contract stuff but his lack of care just rubs me wrong. Smug ass bastard.

Another good comp. Obviously Mitch played in a defense intense focused era so the numbers are a little deflated. But put Mitch Richmond in this era, no doubt Mitch would be a 27-30 PPG player.

Brandon only played till 26 years old and only 5 seasons so it’s hard to compare but there was a few similarities for sure.
