When the Bucks waive Ajax, he’s going to need to learn Chinese.

He could get a 2 way contract. There's always a team that will try to fix him.

Trying PG Giannis again with a worse coach? Why? What does the defense do to counter.... hmmm... have him zigzag through bodies, legs and feet; leading to injuries... and he's not even average at free throws. This is bs re-experiment is going to cost us another wasted Giannis year and we have Turner paired up with him.
We should have been playing inside-out with Giannis the whole time... catch the ball where you're dangerous.. let the D collapse or Giannis beats dudes 1v1... if they double you can see it easier when you're not trying to dribble zig zag through little midget pricks like Indy that will make sure you get hurt running into them. Use your pivot and jab step in a triple threat position.. once you're dribbling you're stuck and trapped.. the less dribbles the better.. if they double while you have your triple threat let your 3 and D guys do damage... have some plays with weakside cuts for layups and get your assists like that. Every MF NBA player think they need to dribble through the whole world in order to feel important... stop.. catch it where you're dangerous and not where you're in danger.
Am I wrong? If so, talk me off the ledge.. are we just clowning the league with these PG Giannis leaks? Is this why we didn't get Paul? I'm just.... just no

I mean, I think it’s more Giannis will have the ball more, but Porter Jr is pretty clearly a PG
Ajax has plenty to offer he just needs the right organisation and fit. He could easily have a Bruce Brown careerShootingtheJ wrote:tedbrogen wrote:crowhead76 wrote:If the Bucks waive Ajax, does he get signed to a regular contract by another team?

This is about keeping Giannis interested/happy and reinserting his name into the national conversation for MVP. Will it lead to more success in the playoffs? Hopefully, but probably not. I worry that we get to playoffs with him healthy and not out of gas.

Sure but that just buys him a year or two to learn Chinese. He’s destined to be a Shanghai Shark.

However, you could simplify it to Knecht for Ajax & Bogo's rights. The case for the Lakers is they shave a couple mill (or more if they waive him) in the apron era, get a better fit & free lotto ticket w/ no cap #. There are clear reasons to do it. Whether it's enough, you'd have to ask them.

Bernman wrote:I'd happily do the Hachi/Knecht for Kuz deal. Would even give them the rights to Bogo, Smith, Ajax, whatever they want from that ilk. Hachi can shoot, is an OK defender & rebounder. Plus he's expiring. Knecht I think has some on ball juice. May flourish if his role expanded here.
