Another functional NBA centre we passed on in the draft, arguably twice since we could have taken him with the late first we gave up in the Ochai trade.

Flipowski wasn't very good at defending C's as they shot 57% against him last year. Going to be hard to win minutes with him as your primary big. His defense isn't good enough to be your lone big, so you need to play him with an other C who can actually do the dirty work.

I wonder if we're going to be active over the remainder of the offseason, or if management is set on seeing what the roster as-is looks like coming opening night?

where would you make a move tho? maybe backup center but they already signed mamu; so i think we're done for now unless a cannot miss opportunity opens up.
we need to see exactly how this team fits and plays together. there are a lot of question marks from BI's health to Barnes and other young players development; fit of IQ and RJ with BI etc...the only player I really feel confident about is poeltl.

It's a great question to which I have no answer. Mine was mostly idle curiosity. I kind of hope we don't, even though it'll be rough on us here for lacking new material to discuss. I want to see what we've got in action before we do much else.

The next move is a consolidation move IMO. I’m glad we kept our powder dry. We have tradable contracts and all our draft picks. Just gots wait on those opportunities to develop
