Jeff Teague says LeBron was on roids in Miami

So, this clearly never happened in Miami. LeBron never took that amount of time off.

He did get back problems in Cleveland. And after some time off for that issue he did lose weight. Why? The reporting at the time was because his weight was contributing to his back problems. But AFAIK it wasn't instantaneous (nor do you suddenly drop muscle when you stop taking PEDs). He didn't lose most of that weight until the offseason.

For one, how tf would Jeff Teague of all people know this? And for two, does anyone actually care if a player is using gear? I sure don't. This isn't baseball where juicing gives you a massive edge at bat. I would be surprised if most players weren't on some form of steroids

Kevin Love lost weight to improve his back issues on the Wolves just before he came to the Cavs. I think he helped LeBron with this.

It could play a role in recovery. We talk a lot about the advancements in sports medicine. Lebron is known for going to great lengths to maintain his body. It would almost be more surprising as you say if he and other NBA players were not using some questionable substances.

As for whether anybody cares... it could put a stain on Lebron's legacy that is so tied to longevity. If people start associating his longevity with steroids that could diminish his GOAT credentials.

I’m one that has said many times that I think LeBron and most professional athletes are using some kind of PED.

With that said. You don’t lose all your gains in 3 weeks. Ya when you’re on HGH you’ll retain a lot more water and you can start to see some weight loss from the water retention dying off. But no you don’t just end a cycle and 3 weeks later it’s like you never took anything. Unless he completely stopped working out and was in a massive calorie deficit and was basically starving himself.

This just sounds like your normal former player podcast where they say random crap to get trending. And to Teague’s credit, he seems to have succeeded
