I would be sad as fuq if I was a kid when this happened. A part of me is because he was a part of my childhood.

Knowing who he is as an adult though, fuq him. He ruined those innocent memories already for me to care about him at all.

Malcolm is a tragedy. Very sad. I don't know anything about him personally but, The Cosby Show has its share of tragic events tied to it.

Hearing OZZY passed kinda took me back. 76. That's young in general but, he was a rock star in every sense of the word. His illness cut him down but, he lived a full life if there ever was one. The Prince of fuqqing Darkness man.

Malcolm dying is so sad because for those of us who grew up in the 80s and 90s, you felt like you grew up with him (and the other kids on the show). He seemed like a really good guy. Way too young.

Ozzy saddened me but also there's a sense of celebration in my heart for him. He went out on stage and raised millions of dollars for charity in his final act as an artist. Nothing but love and respect for The Prince of Darkness. Been listening to his solo album and Black Sabbath cuts all week.

Also, as I joked with my family, Ozzy did REALLY well to make it to 76 considering how hard that man partied.

The lesson here when I think of both of these men: Live and conduct yourself in a way that when you leave this world, people will mourn and or celebrate your life. You don't have to be perfect. But don't live in a way that will make people curse your existence.

Lots of people will be lined up to take turns watering the flowers around Terry Bollea's grave with urine. That's all I'll say.

I'm just now finding out about Hogan's misdeeds. Such a shame. He had the power to do a world of good with the empire he built and he chose to be rotten. He was one of those guys who was larger than life when I was growing up even though I never paid attention to kayfabe wrestling.

Regarding Osbourne, I have an annual tradition of celebrating "Black Sabbath" the day after Black Friday. It started out as a bit of a gag as I'm not even that into Sabbath but as time has gone by it has become a bit of a meaningful anti-holiday for me where I put on a fire and attempt to slough off the overwhelming consumerism that has otherwise overtaken the "Holiday Season."

So Black Sabbath is gonna be a little off this year without Ozzy. Do I lean further into the gag with faux Judeo-Christian symbolism or look to genuinely celebrate a decent man recently passed?

Malcolm... man, that's way too young and it sounds like we lost a good man.

He and his wife also abused his daughter Brooke.

There are wrestlers I've shed a tear for. Dusty Rhodes. Eddie Guerrero. Owen Hart (f*ck Vince McMahon).

But Hogan? Nah.

Man. To this day, I'm at a loss. Why did he do that? We'll never know the answer but my God.

CTE from all of the concussions is what was being floated. I don't remember the details but, that was a terrible tragedy.

Hogan was a scum bag who sold his soul and bought his own hype along the way.

Snuka too. Another wrestler I loved as a kid. Killed his girlfriend.

Lot of fond memories growing up watching the legends.

These guys were larger than life to me in a different time and place from where this world was until now.

So hearing the words that came out of Hogan's mouth, or the discovery that Chris Benoit strangled his wife and kid before hanging himself, or Jimmy Snuka killing a woman....ugh.

I'll be honest. I wouldn't advise exposing any kid to pro wrestling. It's a horrible industry run by really bad people.

All entertainment industries have a dark side. Music/TV/Movies/Sports. Money is the root of all evil. It changes some and just magifies the worst in people that are already ****.

It's crazy that two big names like Hulk and Ozzy passed so close to one another.
Malcom is not in the same category of celebrity, but is easily the most tragic loss of them all. Young, unexpected, etc.

I miss Hulk Hogan the character. I don’t miss Terry Bollea the person.

As a kid Hulk Hogan and Theo Cosby were a big part of my life when consuming TV.

1. RIP to Malcolm Jamal Warner - he was a good dude just like a lot of the Cosby kids

2. Hulk Hogan - if I didn't learn who he was, I would celebrate his character and how he helped the wrestling business but he also did hurt it. So many wrestlers before his death has come out and said how much a POS he was. On top of him being a racist from the leaked video, his daughter stopped talking to him and of course his banned attires for his restaurant.

never got into wrestling outside of rey mysterio jr when i was like 13, but ozzy hits the hardest.

i was stuck listening to Amy Grant and Ace of Base because of my mother, until i discovered my dad's hidden Paranoid record. i put it on and fell in love with rock music ever since.

toni iommi is the reason i play guitar, which is the only hobby of mine that has stuck around to this day, between playing in a band or playing for my students when i was a teacher.

loved reading about your sabbath day annual tribute, that's awesome.

You weren't perfect but nobody is. Thank you for being a wonderful part of my childhood. Rest in peace brother.
