I imagine these are locks :

C : Jokic / Milutinov
PF ; Petrusev
SF : Jovic
SG : Bogdanovic / Guduric / Marinkovic
PG : Avramovic / Micic

Thats 9 plaers. What do you think, am I off? Guards seem set, doubt Topic makes the team, but maybe? Need more forwards, but I am not sure who will it be beside Petrusev and Jovic.

I think they end up looking like this:

C : Jokic / Milutinov
PF ; Petrusev / Vukcevic
SF : Jovic / Dobric
SG : Bogdanovic / Guduric / Marinkovic
PG : Avramovic / Micic / Topic

I see Marinkovic playing some minutes at SF, because avramovic is great to have on the floor for defensive purposes alongside a more traditional PG.

Topic is the most talented PG Serbia has had in a very long time and probably the best passer and ball handler since Teodosic among perimeter players. It would be great to get him on the team early.

Vukcevic struggled playing for Obradovic, but all young players do. He looked decent in the Wizards tanking environment and obviously has the tools to be a nice floor stretcher for Serbia.

Dobric is similar to Davidovac, just with worse shooting and better defense. The latter skill is most likely more important. Given how well Trifunovic played in Turkey, I wouldn't be surprised to see him getting that spot over them though.

Edit: I've got Serbia as the favourites, but Germany is still tough to be beat in this setting, given that their guards are used to ball pressure and they have the ability to get hot from range with guys like Schröder, Franz, Obst or even Voigtmann. However, they can also go cold and then they don't stand a chance. It's why they almost lost to Latvia at the WC.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

France 81-75 Montenegro. Some highlights with English commentary

Alex Sarr 19 points (7/8 FG : 3/5 3PT) 4 rebounds in less than 14 minutes.
Nikola Vucevic 19 points, 6 rebouns, 4 assists

can't find whole boxscore, but here it is.

I hope FIBA don't go full Karen mode on highlights on YT like last few tournaments.

You mean copyright? Yeah, when I made Wembys U19 highlight real few years back, I was copyright struck by bot, I changed color of the video and was fine, but yeah, If I will have time, I am planning to maybe make some player highlights and post it here, I have youtube chanell where I used to post some Euroleague and FIBA highlight reels, but I rarely do it, its not an active channel, also, I get like 100 views max, so I definitely do not get money from it and hope FIBA wont take videos down.... Also, now I am getting a bit better with editing, my previous reels very very amateurish.

In Spain it's a write off tournament pretty much. With the absence of Brown and injuries to Nuñez and Alocen the PG position is a huge question mark.
De Larrea and Saint Supery are great talents but unproven at this level and Diaz is a defensive specialist with very shaky playmaking/scoring ability.
Maybe Scariolo can do some magic but it would be a miracle to make it past the QF.

Looking ahead, who knows, maybe for the next WC we got Ricky Rubio as the starting PG. :D
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

Yeah, Mavs bloggers were getting copyright strikes constantly when posting Luka and the Aussies highlights from these tournaments.

Damn, thats a blow out. Any highlights?

At Iberian battle, Spain surprisingly lost to Portugal, 74-76. It is only friendly, but Spains worries seem legitimate. Celtic, Neemias Queta, 15 points 9 rebounds 3 assists.
On the other hand, Spains' B squad defeated Czechia.

For Belgium, our 2 NBA players Camara & Mitchell won't suit up. Yesterday, news got out that the topscorer of the team, Obasohan (ex-Alabama) is injured and will miss the tournament. Also, a couple of young talents won't participate.

So basically, getting out of the group stage would be a huge success. Last time we beat the champions Spain in the group stage, but such result seems impossible now.

Yeah, I heard Mitchell and Camara wont play, really disappointing. Belgium always was that team thats not in medal contention but on a good day could beat almost anymore.

I don’t think the game was televised so I don’t think there are any highlights

Greece beat Belgium yesterday, 74-60. MItoglou 18 points, Giannis did not play, Thanasis did, 6 points for Thanasis.

Today Lithuania plays Turkey. Also, I believe Spain and Spain B switch their opponents from the other day, Spain A team plays Czechia, Spain B plays Portugal.
