I’m sure they would’ve loved to have *checks notes* Nolan Traore and Ben Saraf rotting on the bench next season

In any case, it's another overpay for a role player, but the Knicks have their #1 (Brunson) and #2 (KAT) in place, so overpaying for elite role players who fit is the correct decision, especially since the East is pretty weak and even more wide open now that the Celtics have dismantled their team and Tatum will miss most (if not all) of next season.

Good luck to Coach Brown managing a roster of so many players that are use to averaging double digit shot attempts. Five players on the team averaged double digit attempts last season. 4 max is a winning forumla, not five, and now the Knicks have Jordan Clarkson. Good luck Coach.Pointgod wrote:Hopefully Mike Brown unlocks him offensively. He should be a 20 ppg game guy @ 50,40,90 with the attention that KAT and Jalen draw

Still its a lot of money for a player who has never been an All Star but he did prove his worth during last Year's playoffs vs my Celtics i suppose

Correct, and Brunson needs to step up, or else the entire roster will roll right over Coach Brown. Some people forget Bridges complains about how much he plays. He only averages 33 minutes per game for his career if I remember correctly. This roster will be Coaches' most difficult challenge and it's not like he's been able to hold a job long-term. Good luck Coach!meekrab wrote:Pointgod wrote:Hopefully Mike Brown unlocks him offensively. He should be a 20 ppg game guy @ 50,40,90 with the attention that KAT and Jalen draw
He's not going to get the shots up for 20 ppg with a coach who doesn't play him 40 minutes a game.

The problem is Mikal and OG are the same player meaning both 3&D wings who can’t create their own offense. The Knicks are now paying $80m/yr for this.
