I kinda feel there isn’t enough discussion about the possibility of the Warriors having a lot of interest in Amir Coffey. Particularly if the Warriors end up making a Kuminga deal that brings back a guard and unbalances the roster, Coffey would be a really prime target to get a playable, decent forward who can shoot.

I know that there’s a lot of talk that the Warriors are going to sign Horford, Melton, and one of Seth Curry / GP2, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they prioritize Coffey over Curry / GP2.

Yea I can see that. He's the last really playable forward in free agency.

Coffee has respectable shooting numbers so why didn't the Clippers re-sign him or anyone else?

That surprised me as well. He was high on my list as a depth option behind JK. IF we trade JK for that garbage Kings offer, or any kings offer that doesn't include Murray, Coffee would be higher on my list than Melton (who may not want to come here if we have monk).

Coffeey strangely has some of the worst advanced metrics and net ratings in the league… but the eye test and shooting numbers sort of tell a different story.

But ya, if we can land horford, and lets say we do trade Kuminga… wouldn’t be awful to try and get Coffey or another stretch big like Boucher after we sign a couple guards that can handle and shoot.

Yeah, there seems to be little FA signing movement right now. Been that way for a while. Teams have room, so I don't know what they're waiting for.

I don't think it's a big deal. I think actual fights would be a problem, or the dirty stuff someone like Brooks has pulled. I doubt either of them care much about this, just some back and forth gamesmanship.
