It's actually more about Knicks = clicks

Channels with large following also do that....I thought it was interesting because people are acting like we are %100 locked into Bridges. Despite his tiny following this guy is one of few to present a scenario where Giannis could still be in play.

I think that fans here/media are not worried enough about how Thibs departure will impact JB. He outperformed EVERYONE's expectations, probably including his fathers.

And Knicks may like Bridges lower contract and/or fit on team moving forward under Mike Brown. If they go after Giannis, the player they may feel has better value to hold on to in terms of the better roster construction could be Bridges. Or Milwaukee has already backchanneled to Knicks they prefer OG in a trade over Mikal.

Does what Milwaukee did in the offseason buy them Giannis sticking until the deadline? Or has he decided he wants out and let them know privately. OG and Hart -or- OG, Mitch and McBride keeps them pretty good with Turner and Kuzma if Giannis is specifically asking for New York. Otherwise its likely another team could outbid us.

Lots of ways to slice this......

Sure anything is possible, it's just not very probable in my opinion. Unless he strictly demanded a trade to the NY Knicks, which I doubt, why wouldn't the Bucks shop him around the league for a best deal in their favor, with a combination of picks and players.

That's not news though?

It’s really not news but, as some have surmised, it is entertaining to see what they said. Pretty funny how wrong they were.

Precious isn't coming back. We don't need him. I mentioned Shamet. We technically don't need him either. Rondae? He's still in the league? :o Lonnie is overseas. He's been bounced around so much I don't know what his deal is.

Shamet for the win?

None of them are in the league, that’s my point. Achiuwa might sign in Greece soon - imo we should try to keep him instead.

Why? We just signed his replacement. We only have one vet mini to spend. Hope he likes souvlaki.

They would. NYK has nothing that makes sense for MIL. OKC could beat anything we offer without blinking. He can't demand his way anywhere with multiple years left on his deal and he doesn't have a NTC. MIL would be in full rebuild.

l hear you.I doubt they could trade for Towns, doubly so for Bridges. If Giannis would demand a trade to any team , it would be the Knicks. Sure OKC has better picks, But Giannis has a lot of pull too. Dude won ring for them and has been more loyal than most, more patient than most. But if he doesnt want to go to OKC, or if OKC doesnt want him - because lets be real they won without him -then what? ..NYC IMO.

Exactly. The Knicks traded away a boatload of picks for Bridges, there are no picks of value left for a trade of that magnitude. What we see is what we have team wise.

I read somewhere Precious could sign with Miami, his first team. It was just speculation though I think. Hope he lands somewhere in the NBA.

I know we have Yabusele now but Precious still would be a good depth piece at 4-5, for defense especially

Either this year or next, Yabusele is going to do things that Lebron will no longer be capable of. Whether our team most needs another 4-5 or whether we need a PG is not clear.

It's pretty clear to me that we need another playmaker, Brunson is the only playable one we have.

I mean he's underated in that category, but he's by no means a pure playmaker...and we need that behind Brunson.

What do you mean by that? Kolek is a pure playmaker, but that doesn't get you much in today's NBA.

Return to New York Knicks
