I thought the initial trailer looked pretty silly and wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but it’s delivering so far and the last two episodes have been outstanding. It definitely is a bit ridiculous but in an acceptable and still super entertaining way. MCH as Dexter is still a god tier character performance all these years later.

Agreed. The whole concept is crazy so you just go with it. Peter Dinklage was a good addition.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

MickeyDavis wrote:I mentioned in the OT thread that UFC is moving to Paramount+ in 2026. Current plans:

Paramount+ offers two main subscription plans: Paramount+ Essential and Paramount+ with SHOWTIME. The Essential plan, priced at $7.99/month or $59.99/year, includes a vast library of content, live CBS news, and some sports like NFL on CBS and UEFA Champions League, but it does have ads. The Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan, which is $12.99/month or $119.99/year, offers ad-free viewing (except for live TV) and includes all SHOWTIME content, more live sports, and the ability to download content.

I have the plan with Showtime. $120 a year. As was mentioned in the other thread both plans will no doubt see increases. UFC is costing them $1.1 billion per year for 7 years. My plan doesn't renew until March unfortunately and you can't renew early.

I guess we'll see if there are plans to raise prices, but this is a major win. My brother buys pretty much all the UFC PPVs and we already have Paramount Plus so this is seemingly really nice.

Streaming plans are non refundable, if you buy an annual plan and cancel anytime during the year you don't get any money back. Your subscription continues until the expiration date. But they don't let you extend the subscription either. You'd think they would love locking you up for a longer period but I guess they figure they are going to raise rates at least once a year and they'll take the chance you'll renew at the higher rate.

Spoiler:
Saw it Friday. Cackled often at the ridiculousness. The cheesegrater defense I had to look away lol. The entrance into Garner's car while she was sleeping was squirming! And of course the ending was nutso. Thought the last segment with the kid was pretty **** dark and sad, a litle too oppressive. But I guess it can't all be spirited horror.

King of the Hill reboot was actually really good
Bucks tricked me into being a diehard in 2001, LeBron is the 2nd best player ever, and pizza is awesome.

Super intriguing cast. Leonardo DiCaprio · Bob Ferguson ; Benicio Del Toro ; Sean Penn ; Wood Harris ; Teyana Taylor · Perfidia, etc

I canceled Max on an annual about a month before and they emailed me a super cheap 6 month rate before my year was up so I took it. Expires soon and I won’t bring it back unless they have a good black friday deal.

Very much looking forward to the final season of Stranger Things...... but the run time of each episode is insanely too long.....shortest "episode" is 2:05 and the finale being 3:00.
Why should you go to jail for a crime someone else noticed? You don't need double talk... You need Bob Loblaw.

Aliens is probably in my all-time Top 5 movies, but the show is meh.

Spoiler:
In Aliens, Ripley and the marines are able to pick off scores of xenos, but this rescue team can't kill one?

And we have managed to transfer our consciousness into androids, but we can't cure a low sperm count?

Seinfeld was my end of the night watch that got my through the last few months and I finished that last week. Going with Agents of SHIELD and the rewatch is going too quickly. For some reason I had it in my head the first half of the first season was skippable but it was entertaining as hell. Just finished season one and it was bangers in the end. The show just gets better and better for the next few seasons. I can't believe ABC let it go on for as long as it did.

Out of curiosity, where did you see that? The Duffers said a little while ago that rumors of the episodes being 2-3 hours long are not remotely close to accurate. I do expect the episodes to be long but my guess would be probably closer to 1.5 hours on average.

I think I got halfway through Season 3 of Stranger Things before tapping out. Has it actually been good? Felt like a classic case of a show that should have been 2-3 seasons, but ended up being a victim of its own success and stretched the narrative way too thin (kinda like our Lost discussion a ways back).

I think it's been really good throughout tbh. Plan to do a rewatch soon

Alien Earth reviews being great is giving me a raging clue. Will report back with my findings.

The Hulu app is going away in the next few months. All Hulu content will be available only on the Disney + app. You can still subscribe to Hulu only.
