I would of played suck hardball with Dak he would have dropped his no trade clause and I would have traded his ass 2 drafts ago. I had a plan at the time which won't work now. Once again the great football mind of Jerry is always setting us back multiple years.
Dak had it the worst of everyone, Dallas used the franchise tag on him. They literally waited as long as humanly possible before giving him a contract.
Parsons is still TWO SEASONS away from that.
The difference is that Dak didn't throw a fit about it or hold out, he just played football.
I get torn on these kind of issues TBH, because I feel like BOTH sides are within their right. Parsons signed a rookie deal, and the Cowboys are paying him on that deal that he signed. It's all fair game. But at the same time, Parsons deserves a big contract. He isn't getting any younger. IDK. All in all the business side of the NFL just sucks.
