But I'm not absolving Luka now or ever. Imagine constantly dealing with an insubordinate employee; it would be taxing on anyone, no matter how good the staff member is. A multi-millionaire athlete's job is to be in shape; he wasn't, he didn't care to, and I'm sure the team asked him about it time after time. Did it take away from him being great? No. WOuld it have prevented some of the injuries he has ben plagued with? No doubt
Luka was still a high performing member of Dallas . He’s not perfect but he contributed more than his fair share with very obvious flaws .
I don’t expect any workplace to have purely folks that are 100% performance or better .
Likewise , I don’t see you constantly ranting on the other non performing Dallas players.
