Russia wants Ukraine because they dont want a country affiliated with NATO near their border.

Regardless, Putin played the US like a fiddle. He will continue his war in Ukraine.

He flirted with Trump, telling him things he wants to hear. Oh we wouodnt have gone to Ukraine if you were president.. yea… right……

I thought I read this 40 years ago but it was about Viet Nam, but the Republicans were pro war and the Democrats were for peace. Now, the roles have truly reversed! Hahahaha.

Russia Russia Russia owns Trump's ass. The "threats" of secondary tariffs was just tough talk so people wouldn't call him Putin's puppet.

He's not Putin's puppet. He's Putin's dog.

You tell me that they replaced animal meat with lab created “protein”, and that is something to be outraged about.. a caricature of a man sitting next to a barrel is what has maga outraged, even causing the stock to plummet?

We are the country of complainers..

Apparently it’s not just the rebrand cuz I was wondering the same thing. Robby Starbuck said he has a lot of dirt on CB and will expose it shortly.

Not true. He'd get the US military to do it.

And in other news, Trump continuing to prove he is exactly what we said he is: A dictator who will pull the US into fascism.

https://www.threads.com/@apnews/post/DN3CGzFXD7g

And the entire Republican party is in on it because their desire to have power consolidated in their hands was always going to be more important than their dedication to the constitution or promise of this country.

It is a little surprising how very easily they bent to fascism once they had a leader who was openly self-serving that they could hide behind, but it probably shouldn't be. Its why they are totally comfortable openly cheating and gerrymandering away seats from their opponents at his command. Power was always the true motivator anyway.

Fellas got a question for y'all....first date: dinner, activity, or coffee?

@Shewasfly - would you accept anything less than a dinner date?

Activities keep things engaging even if there is some shyness or awkwardness. Safe bet.

Dinner first, then an activity, and to cap the night she invites you to go upstairs for some “coffee”.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Yup. My first date with my current lady of a few years was a literal walk in the park (we're both active people)....best date I ever had. Second date was dinner a week and a half after it was clear that there was chemistry.

I asked the question because a co-worker was telling me that anything less than dinner on date 1 was "low effort" on his part lol. I swear between social media, dating apps, and the club scene...the current dating landscape is ****ed.

When I first started dating my husband we did a dinner date. But we had spoken a lot before then so I was comfortable with him. I definitely wouldn't do the coffee date stuff but that's just me.

Think about a place that hits some of her interests that she's told you, or is nearby a place that is. So maybe you guys can kinda walk or drive to it after. Most of us just appreciate the effort and that you listened and were intentional.

Republicans vs America.
They are waging war against decency and American standards every which way. Latest:

Trump revokes Secret Service protection for former Vice President Kamala Harris

This is the part of fascism where the dictator even more openly goes after his political rivals.

Activities all day. Coffee/Tea is cool if she can carry her own weight in conversation otherwise it's draining. I never took a woman out for a romantic dinner as a 1st date; that's for after I've smashed

Trump got rid of the extension of the Secret Service protection Biden gave her, which would have expired 2 months ago. The law is; "Congress passed legislation (H.R. 5938); the 'Former Vice President Protection Act of 2008,' which authorized Secret Service protection for former Vice Presidents, their spouses and their children less than 16 years of age for up to six months after the Vice President’s term in office has ended."

It's petty, sure. But Trump didn't break the law to cancel that extension. If he did, it will get appealed.

Its a non story because it was expiring anyways but he knows he can make a headline and will never pass an opportunity to create a distraction. Its all about making headlines and distraction… and they have successfully made enough headlines to distract people from his involvement with Epstein.

Definitely never mentioned breaking the law. But it's not just petty either, it's yet another break to precedent and decorum to the Office. Cheney had his SS detail extended by Obama and had less credible threats against him than Kamala does. Even more than that, it's about pretty blatantly leaving someone who was literally second in command less than a year ago vulnerable to assassination in a hostile political climate and just months after 2 successful political assassinations of others from her same party.

He's turned the armed forces against the people in multiple American cities using an "assault" to a random guy in a made up agency of his as a justification, but this decision is no big deal? Yeah ok. She's also about to go on a book tour and he knows that.

Luckily America's greatest governor is going to provide security to her and her family in lieu.
