You have to put him in the equation for a starting spot next year as well.
I assume he starts the year in the rotation, and if he struggles he is replaced by a younger player.
They desperately need Bieber back - this rotation needs an ace. Then with Bieber, Berrios and Gaussman, I think there’s enough depth in the system to find the last 2 starters + depth.
