Wonder how long "final stages" are. We should know more soon-ish. Who knows when that is.
I don't put much store into Beasley and Cade/Duren being in Rome at the same time. That could mean nothing at all.

I would bet that that they told Beasley's lawyer that they will do their investigation in a certain timeframe, so it doesn't linger on past the start of training camp.... essentially saying we'll spend a few months and if we can't find anything we'll close it up so he can move on with playing... because at some point you can't just drag it out to the detriment of the player. You either find something that is solid enough to suspend the player or you don't.
So the wraping it up scenario could just be the fact that training camp opens up September 24th.
