Skins are a 3-point underdog.

Tyler Dunne's article about the Bears last season dropped a bombshell, that the front office believes that Caleb has dyslexia but didn't bother to tell the coaching staff. :eek1:

A story also came out that the Bears didn't even bother to bring in Jayden Daniels to interview him (there was also a debate whether or not Daniels camp was willing to meet with the Bears). The Commanders in the meantime IIRC brought in all the QBs.

Apparently Dunne's article paints a less than flattering portrait of the Bears GM.

Green Bay Packers Inactive
16 CB Bo Melton
39 S Zayne Anderson
50 OL Zach Tom*
65 G Aaron Banks*
89 TE Ben Sims
91 DL Warren Brinson

Washington Commanders Inactive
13 P Mitch Wishnowsky
14 QB Josh Johnson (3rd QB)
36 RB Chris Rodriguez Jr.
51 LB Ale Kaho
56 LB Kain Medrano
73 T Trent Scott
77 T George Fant

I think Tom & Banks both start on the O-line for the Packers. With them out I’m hopeful for another good game from the Defense.

If the Packers stop the running game like they did vs the Lions this game will be close. It maybe time for JD5 to do his thing if they want to go 2 - 0.

Down 3-14 at half, I'm glad this is only on Amazon Prime.

Glad I'm missing this.

How far do I need to go back to find what I said about Marshon Lattimore.

I am calling him the Toastmaster from now on.

Dan Quinn got outcoached tonight. I'm not too mad because it's September, but putting Connerly on an island against Parsons was bad gameplanning. The Packers knew that Jayden wants to go right, and they had Parsons waiting for him all game. They played a simple zone and they couldn't figure it out for an entire half. Sometimes sending 6 receivers out with only 5 protecting is not a good idea. That's why I always appreciated Joe Gibbs...he knew keeping the QB upright was the most important part of a functioning passing game.

Go back with me to week 2 2013. Skins at Green Bay. Skins got smashed so hard (38-20) and RG3 was horrendous. It was the first moment I really started to wonder if RG3 was a gimmick and the league caught up with him.

Jayden was so bad last night I can’t help but wonder if the leagues figured him out.

Commanders are the oldest team in the league. I think the short rest going into this game might have been part of the reason for such a weak showing.

 Damn this didn't take long.

Good point Tontoz on it being a short week.

Also lets not forget that as the road team we had to travel Weds so that's one less practice day. I have always thought Thursday games were a bad idea.

Latimore is cooked. I called it from the jumo. I hate that we paid Terry this much money when he hasn't been a game changer and probably won't be. Two bad moves. The teams also older and I support vets but **** we are gonna need to get younger fast and I don't like how hard her went on vets.

You also didn't like us drafting Jayden.

It's just game 2 on the road on a short week.We made the championship game a few months ago in case you forgot. It is a little early to press the panic button.

Go back and get it correct. I never said I didn't like drafting Jaiden. I was on the record saying we should have traded back because at the time I believed he would still be there and we could maximize assets. The QB tax was higher than I anticipated. But it was never a slight at Jaiden.

That aside.

You can't say latimore hasn't looked awful
You can't say Terry hasn't looked bad
And
You can't say this team isn't too old.
