This is what is being reported.

It's the slippery slope of being in the media: You're allowed to report on things that fall in your wheelhouse but not share your personal take on something outside it. And while I understand the Kirk situation is more a political one and outside his sporting related purview, he's still a regular dude with thoughts and feelings like everyone else. Much in the same vein as Kirk's musings, you don't have to like or agree with them.

Once a person has a job in a corporate space that is easily recognizable, this is what happens. Internet tribalism is fierce and without mercy and employers don't want any part in it. Him losing his gig once that came out is of little surprise to me.

TBH - if he is cheering on an assasination, he needs something more than a firing. What a horrible human being.

I agree

He was the closest to an objective straight man in that group. PHNX had already gone down the crapper long ago, losing Gerald would neither fix it nor kill it.

Dudes looking gnarly for sure going into the next season. His impact on the game will be felt but there's also a small chance of fatigue and maybe not much individual box score growth with KD joining the team but once KD is gone in a few years he could be a monster. It's sort of an equation of how much usage Sengun/KD/Amen gets with the departure of Green and Brooks if we're talking box score stats.

If KD thought, he was underutilized in Phoenix. How's he going to feel in Houston?

He was a turnover machine when he tried to dribble too much. He was abused on defense it seemed also. There were no name dudes who when they looked up and KD was guarding them, they had a green light.

I never really saw the hype with Sengun.

He's a bad defender and lacks speed so I think he is just a similar player to Sabonis who is a good player but nothing amazing and can get absolutely torched at times on defense because he can't keep up.

I thought he was overrated and to some extent, I still think he is but much less so now. His first 4 seasons in league does track pretty closely with Domas first 4 seasons with Domas being not as good a playmaker (at that stage of his career) but a better rebounder than Sengun. But even if Sengun peaks at Domas' peak with at like 20pts, 14rbs, 8ast, that's a DAMN good player, especially one taken outside of the lottery.

If you are not mourning, you are celebrating. And if you do, you endorse his words or imo hate speech.

I'm scared for the future of this country, and to the World. This is out of control.

A new baby Jokic comes up every year the past few years. I do think he is copying Jokic which is a little annoying to me, but his game is pretty limited. After watching him for a while you can tell there's a few go-to moves he likes to make over and over which make him less effective in the clutch. He can't make his jump shot and a poor free throw shooter, that will limit him in playoff environment.

He is a true offensive hub though, we will see how he and KD work together. I'm not optimistic things will work out the first year. KD doesn't believe in team ball and likes to iso, you double team him and he will turn it over. Will he change? I don't think he can. And anyone who had watched Udoka coach the Boston Celtics can tell you that his offensive system is predictable and lack creativity.

They are still probably the 3rd best team in the West, but they are a distance 3rd and a tier below OKC. I think Brooks is low key critical to their defensive success last season. They were not known to be that defensive dawg they were last year before Brooks's arrival.

Correct answer. Gerald simply stated facts. Gerald did not “celebrate or cheer”. Facts were presented. Gerald simply stated facts, not opinions. I’ve witnessed a Fauxnews anchor call for the murder of homeless people and give a half a$& apology for less than 20 seconds and nothing happened to him. I disagree with many of Gerald’s Sports opinions but outside of that, he did nothing wrong. I have my personal views on Charlie Kirk. But this is a Suns forum and I’ve seen the anger and rage from a certain group of posters here so I’ll keep my opinion to myself but make no mistake racism is not an opinion.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

Only a fan of Arizona teams!
