Talent on the court means absolutely nothing if the player that possesses it is a selfish disease permeating through the locker room.

I really don't think she would be that big of an issue, especially on a winning team with good chemistry. Personally, I take talent regardless of attitude unless it really is THAT bad, and I believe very few cases are THAT bad. I would rather gamble on that talent getting it together than them being a massive problem. On top of that, if she was that big of a problem she is still tradable. She is talented enough to still command a decent price. It's an easy yes for me.
You make some solid points but we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one, brother.
On the upcoming Lottery, I actually hope that the results end up with the Lynx landing Azzi Fudd. It might open the door to motivate Bueckers for a move back to MN.

I understand the sentiment, maybe she is THAT bad, I just don't believe her to be and I also don't believe she can't mature. I'd look into moving that pick for her even in a trade but I would want to do my research first, including gauge her attitude for playing with us. In my mind, even though it was a disaster, I do the Jimmy Butler trade. I think it was a fantastic trade at the time and I don't blame Thibs.
Talent is paramount at the end of the day. I also believed that we could trade her if things did go south, her value would be lower but I didn't see it dropping so fast in one season that we couldn't get assets. Again, I know many disagree but personally I always bet on talent and try to work the other stuff out. From a marketing and exposure standpoint I think she also would have been a huge win for the team. Minnesota has pretty strong support for the Lynx and that combined with our cemented dynasty status (if we had her I think we had a good chance of beating New York last year and possibly winning it all this year).
I think surrounded by all that positivity could further help her mature. Sometimes players are knuckleheads until they get surrounded by the right people, and again, even still, I personally don't see her as that intense of a malcontent, but I also don't know enough about her to have a real judgment. All that to say, it's absolutely a gamble I would have taken, barring my absolute belief that it would be a disaster, and maybe the Lynx did feel that way at their core. I don't with my limited information.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.
