I said all last year he's too herky-jerky and lumbery to guard 3s in the NBA.
The obsession with versatility is for Draft hype; the reality is you're lucky if a guy can actually play 2 positions.
I agree he's lumbery and it'd be hard for him to guard 3s. But I also don't see the strength in him to be a 4 full time either. Its not just about stretching the floor on offense, is he really going to be able to hold his own inside on defense? Especially when it comes to getting boards? I'm excited to see what he's been working on to grow into that big man role and how he looks.
To me he kept up with Luka and Wagner who both play the 3. Wagner is just as lumbery imo. He has the guard skills on offense and I agree with you about the strength. That's why I see him at the 3 longer term

We saw it once, last year for an extended run

I don’t see that at all! Jovic has never been a dribble handoff shooter.
If we are running DRob plays, it will be for Powell I’d think. Anyway, let’s see how it plays out.
Either way I’m stoked to have Jovic be a part of the main rotation - either as a starter or 6th man.

Ware is playing well.
Fontecchio has some skills, he'll play. Hes akready better defensively than Robinson.

I know who I would rather have under contract for the next 3-4 years.
