I know we are all justifiably uncomfortable when Hoffman pitches but in four postseason outings he’s given up four base runners in 4.1 innings and given up one run in the last 10 innings he has pitched, even if some were shaky. He has not given up a home run the last 10 outings.
Let’s not forget to mention the fact that he got the core of the lineup out 123 the night before. why wouldn’t you go to him again in this outing? It was just dumb.
Totally disregard how trashy and useless little has been and essentially the second half of the season
Hoffman was shaky late season due to his arm being dead tired, but the rest helped him.He helped us beat the Yankees, and the previous night he sat down Seattles core, while Little has been worse to watch with his bouncing balls lately. You can see the difference between them when they pitch.f.o. cant just rely on stats all the time or ai to make baseball decisions.Fisher or Hoffman was the better risk. Our ai model sucks, and needs upgrading lol. These f.o . guys make these decisions in advance, and get locked into them and are arrogant, and stubborn.Maxs stubborness was justified with what he did 2 nights ago,and he defied the f.o. way to go Max lol.**** this f.o.
