Like if he wants to win, he needs to make Brian Cashman's life difficult starting this winter. Open your mouth and start demanding changes.
Judge couldn't be arsed to go find Soto and tell him he needed to stay a Yankee. He ain't doing none of that.
Dude's too busy going to games with his boy Anthony Rizzo and enjoying his millions

Putting Soto leaving on Judge is confusing as hell to me...Soto was super clear about what he wanted. That man was planning for this moment ever since he was with the Nationals, and it showed in his media preparation...professional as hell. Throughout that whole year with the Yankees, he never ever said anything that would hurt Boras' leverage. He got what he wanted in the end.
Where Judge effed up is when he didn't put pressure on the front office before it got to the point where everything was so dependent on Soto and Judge last year. Hal has been cheap as eff for a very long time. In 2022, Judge signed that contract...that's when he could have had leverage. Except, somehow, a year after signing his contract, in 2023, the Yankees had a 82-80 record...wtf? We can explain a lot of it by the fact that Judge got injured. Except, again, Hal shouldn't be doing that shyt. Facking Dodgers lost their whole starting rotation this year. A lot of good free agents have come and gone before Soto...it's just that the Yankees were so damn cheap for so long that they ended up being desperate for Juan Soto because they shot themselves in the foot so much. It's unreal how clownish Hal has been. He's spent so much on scrubs, just to avoid paying stars.
Also, one sign that shows the Yankees haven't learned shyt. When Judge got hurt this year, the Yankees were getting ready to sell off Bellinger, Grisham, and a bunch of other players. It was only when they learned that he was coming back that they stopped. They know this team is dependent on one guy.
