Toumani Camara -- the #52 pick ( nate ) in the 2023 draft just signed a 4-year $82m extension with Portland. Not bad!

Hindsight is 20/20, but with FVV down for the year, Houston paying $14 mil per for Adams seems like a bad use of cap room. I think they could have gotten away with a Capela/Sengun and Jabari small ball 5 lineup, but imagine they could have earmarked that room for a shooter.

I keep thinking CJ to Houston at some point is inevitable. Not sure how, but their lack of ball handling is going to ruin their season.

The signing that really puzzled me was Dorian Finney Smith for 4-years $52M. Why does a team that already has Amen Thompson, Kevin Durant, Tari Eason and Jabari Smith need to go out and find another big wing? They should have spent that money on a guy like Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Ty Jerome, or Dennis Schroeder. And with the forward log jam alleviated a bit, they could have retained Whitmore too.
