He chose Giannis route of running through everyone and dunking on them instead of being a volume 3 shooter and that is terrifying for the league. 3P% will go up as he is more selective as well. Scary.

Crazy debut, even though he did miss two clutch free throws at the end. They get the road win despite only getting 4 points from Embiid.

Embiid is cooked. He should retire now.

I can remember watching him the 1st time with 15 or 16 in a trainings video with Gobert on youtube, 2 years before the under 19 Worldcup. He looked great but so did Bol and Co in videos like this. Never thought he would become maybe the LeBron for the next Gen.

Whoever did diet & conditioning for him deserves huge money.
This year he added enough muscles to actually accelerate him. He moves so much faster than last year.

Guy demolished Anthony Davis. On both ends. Davis looked like silly rookie at times. It's same AD who is top 10 player with peaks of top 5 player and probably one of top 3 best two -way -players league has.
Than they switch to Livley who is one of better rim protectors & most mobiles centers league has. Poor guy had no shot.
Than poor Cooper is thrown to do whatever TF Kidd thought it was good idea. Poor guy probably regrets not staying in college after game 1. Vemby blew by him, blocked him, dunked around him.
By the time 3rd quarter ended, Victor had like 4 dunks on AD, got him in foul troubles, had him shooting 7-22 and limited LIvley on 2 shots![]()
Welcome to a league Coop
If he stays healthy, given how much talent Spurs already accumulated ( Castle is excellent player , Vassell is very good player, Harper looked good, Fox will probably get moved etc) , Spurs can be problem even this year because Victor is type of guy who will be instant lock for DPOY and near MVP level as soon as this year.
