But kudos to Grimes, he had confidence issues, and that is the hardest thing to overcome. He seems like a different person today then he was 2 years ago. He's also not staying with Philly long term, so that's a plus too.

Then that means we have all those picks and we can scoop Giannis before the season starts most likely

Brunson
Grimes
OG
Giannis
Towns

Easy dynasty. Thank you thibs

And if your grandma had wheels...

Why couldn't they have both Bridges and Grimes?

Because Grimes was traded for the contract that made the Bridges trade possible?

They could have kept Fournier for a few more months and made the same deal or traded Fournier to a team looking to dump a 2 year deal like the Lakers were trying to do with Russell's contract at the time and likely received some compensation for it. Any expiring around $20M could have been used as salary filler in the Bridges deal and it didn't require Grimes and two 2nds to acquire it.

Would have been quite hard considering Fournier, as an NBA player was not a thing anyore, at the time of the trade, and his contract was in past tense.

or traded Fournier to a team looking to dump a 2 year deal like the Lakers were trying to do with Russell's contract at the time and likely received some compensation for it.

They did just that, and it cost them Grimes.

And your grandma could have been the bus, if only she had wheels instead of feet.

Fournier was still an NBA player when the Bridges' deal was announced before the draft. Detroit declined his team option just before the start of free agency. The Knicks could have easily picked up Fournier's team option where he would have been paid a ton of money to play in Brooklyn or be bought out.

Instead of being compensated for acquiring what turned out to be a negative 2 year deal in Bogey + Burks the Knicks added the value of Grimes and two 2nds to Fournier's potential expiring because they misjudged the values but yeah, something about wheels and grandmothers and wings or whatever.

It sounds like you’re having a really hard time moving on from our old coach. Let me help you brother!

Really sucks that backcourt plays for the 6ers because their game is dope and they both are cool as hell.

I’m really pulling for Edgecombe (when he isn’t playing NY). His personal story is easy to root for.

Bogey was balling for us off the bench, got hurt in the playoffs, pretty much had to retire because of it

All our forwards got hurt in that playoff run. Randle, OG, Hart, Bogey

At the time, Grimes had regressed and was looking like a bust with Detroit and Dallas. He saved his career with Philly

Meanwhile, Bogey was balling in Detroit even though they were having a historically bad season. A healthy Bogey could have gotten us to the ECF at least

Knicks finally get a good backcourt and it isn't even 3rd in the East

Cam Thomas has to be the most elite scorer I've ever seen that isn't a star. The degree of difficulty on the shots he makes is crazy.
