And Hugo is by far looking the best, and what even is Hugo, an energy defender and play finisher? It's possible all the other guys are nilch and even Hugo, it's been a nice start, but I don't know what Hugo is gonna be.
Brad taking so few swings on the draft instead for young vets their original team is not interested in re-signing, I don't agree with that strategy. Jaden Springer, could have been 2 seconds including #41 in last draft. #32 could have been Kalkbrenner instead it's turned into Shulga and Amari. We just have not added talent for years and years except bringing in massively expensive vets like Porzingis and Jrue -- and that approach just wasn't economically sustainable
I hope Hugo becomes a great player, everything is hinging on him IMO

Especially the rebounding
I was joking and you are totally right
I criticised Brad for his poor drafts and trading for washed up young players. There is nothing like first impression - if you are good, it will be seen in a few minutes on your first game (and will continue throughout the first year). The late Reggie Lewis comes to mind. When I saw him play a couple of minutes at the end of games, you could see he was special. There are countless more examples and even more for busts that you could see on their first game (we had so many of these - Langford, JJJ and the plethora of small guards DA loved so much).
Bigs take time to develop, so at least get someone that is performing well and has the size and athleticism (Filipowski instead of Baylor; Kalk or other big on the last draft, or Powel for his athleticism). Brad's drafts and signing of minimum contract players are iffy at best
But, this is what Joe was dealt - and I prefer if we lose by playing the young. Amari for 20 minutes for example. He couldn't be worse than Garza. Play Hugo, Baylor and Walsh over Hauser and PP etc
