I believe I would, But I would try much harder on a Simons for Black and Isaac.
I no longer believe that Isaac can become much of anything, but hey, there is still hope there I guess. Change of environment might just be what he needs.
The prize is Blacks potential (and 5 mill in savings)
Agree. I played around with finding enough ORL salary (and a place for it to go) to match Simons in the summer. It gets pretty hard. Even the Hauser one you gotta send someone else from ORL somewhere, but I didn't wanna complicate the discussion with the minutiae.

Defensively Black looks like a really solid NBA prospect already with lots of experience. On offense a project. Shooting and scoring is not terrible, but a lot to work on if he is going to be a floor general. He looks more like a versatile defense first 3rd guard. We could use that for sure going forward but is that skill set greater than what Hauser brings. Hauser is an elite shooter that’s serviceable in other aspects of the game.
It's tough now for Joe to play Hauser, Minott and Hugo in the same game - and that's without JT. When he's back, I think JB, JT, Minott and Hugo are enough for the bigger wing rotation. Black could fill that Jrue role (eventually, to some < 100%) and you have White and PP. Add lotto pick/TPE big and Queta and you have a solid 9-man rotation.
