Last year I thought he'd get 125/5, he's outplaying that comfortabely.

Its definitely not that, it's A He often plays for and gets awarded for foul baiting/three throws and B He plays for The Lakers and many LAL fans often talk him up as a legit 3rd potential star option for Luka and Lebron.
The kid had a great game tonight, props to him, yet the Lakers still lost to a team projected to be less talented then them (even without Luka and Lebron)
For me (and i haven't seen the Lakers this season) it's how many calls he gets from the refs and the lack of defensive effort which annoys me about Reaves, which ties into the preferential treatment Lakers get from the refs. (Which isn't AR's fault i should add)
Blazers are not less talented than Lakers without Luka and LeBron...
I'd order the players on talent like this:
Reaves
Deni
Jrue
Clingan
Sharpe
Camara
Grant
Rui
Ayton
Vando
LaRavia
Knecht
Yang
Wesley
Murray
Blazers have 6 players better than Rui, who is Lakers 2nd best player out there

I respect your opinion and analytical thinking, however I must respectfully disagree on you ranking Reaves ahead of Deni Avdija
Deni has been underrated in this league (for a few years now) and offers more on both ends than AR.
Austin Reaves is also 27, Deni 24.

TBH I had Deni and Reaves close to par. I don't mind if you have Deni above.

Maybe Reaves/Rui/FRP for Thybulle/RW Lakers take risk with RW injury history? .

Austin is a more proven, polished scorer. Deni has to sustain his hot start before we entertain the idea of him being on Reaves' level offensively.
On the other end though, the gap is bigger. Deni is a ferocious man-to-man defender with good versatility, size, and strength. Austin gives a good effort but he's slow enough at his size to be a liability.

Yeah that is how I'd see it. Reaves playoffs performance gives him an edge IMO

Signed me on any. I might add a protected 2nd to sweeten the deal for the Lakers

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

Not interested in helping LAL.

Damn I don't even remember this proposal, what was I thinking? Lol. Ain't no way Lakers doing that either, I must of been drunk when I said that lol

Don't worry - there's someone more hammered than you posting they wouldn't want to help LA out with that trade

He was efficient inside the arc and got to the line enough though to still score at 57.9% TS. Probably should’ve been drafted despite the lack of 3PT shooting. And yet here we are, killing the league in year 5. Love these success stories.

Seniors are practically ignored. NBA scouts treat seniors like red pill dudes treat beautiful women who are single at 35 -- they think something must be wrong with you, otherwise you wouldn't be available this late in "the game".

I've always said the key to finding good players in the later parts of the draft is to go after the older players instead of the one and dones. Charlotte looks like they might have struck second round gold already with Ryan Kalkbrenner this year. Toumani Camara is another one, Andrew Nembhard, Dillon Brooks, Malcolm Brogdon, Norman Powell, all second rounders past their 21st birthday at least. Mavs found Jalen Brunson, Dorian Finney Smith, and Jae Crowder all in the second round that way too
