Everyone was gassing this team up. It’s only fair to shine a light on how pathetic they are right now. I love that so many people are saying that Paolo needs to man up and become a leader.

If we turn it around quickly, this start could be a blessing in disguise to figure out a lot of things and light a fire under the ass of players who otherwise would've continued doing dumb stuff.

People have to also remember that many coaches, players and teams are figuring out rotations, what works, what doesn't work in real time.
Mosley's gonna survive. Why? He's adaptable and humble. He expanded his staff with experienced coaches. He has a track record of zeroing on the rotations that work. We've already seen his adaptability in rotations early on with the reduction of Tyus minutes.

I think that he tries to do what works for players vs forcing a system. That's both a strength and a weakness, eventually he'll need to force players into roles that maximize the team and force Weltman's hand on personnel decisions. He's got another season to implement an identity for this team IMO.

Unless we lose. Then pitchforks.

Agreed. Whether we like it or not, this Lineup hasn't played together consistently for at least a year ( with the Paolo Franz Suggs injury ) plus you put in a new high usage guy in Bane.

Growing pains are to be expected.

Never thought it comes at the expense of "mid" teams though. Wouldve though top teams would be the ones to teach us a lesson. Just goes to show...

Mosley saying "thank you very much" at the end of that interview like a man begging for his life.

Coaches like Malone don't take a job mid-season. If we signed someone like him, it would be in the office season. They would likely make an assistant coach the interim coach.

Also - not going to pretend to know the coaching side of things well - but I imagine having a brand new offensive coach bringing in a new scheme and philosophy takes a good bit of time to gel even on a non-player personnel level. They are clearly feeling things out from coaching staff to players and it’s just…ugly af.

I agree they'll be better after they gel, but how much better? 500 won't cut it for this payroll unless they made a deep playoff run.

Paolo's FT shooting is not helping his efficiency numbers...
