if you agree to take Miles Bridges we might be able to get something to work.

Charlotte is a team Dallas loves to trade with. But the idea of a Klay trade would be saving money so not sure how Bridges helps with that goal?

This deal doesn't work as-is because of Smith's poison pill status; HOU would need to send out a minimum contract along with him.
It would be far better for the Bulls to keep the cheap expiring White and to continue to increase Patrick Williams's minutes than to trade for Jabari on that contract.

smith is worth 12.3M outgoing, thats enough to match White's 12.8M incoming

Sorry... not because of the poison pill, but because Houston is hard capped at the first apron and Spotrac says that this puts them over by $616K.

spotrac says they have 1.2M 1st apron space?

Au contraire. We've been told on this board for at least a year he has a near max extension already agreed to and this is just fake injury news to protect him for when Utah really wants him to help them win. He will still get his money. This has been assured.

That particular delusional fantasy aside, I expect that Kessler will still make out nicely next summer.

The Jazz now can't trade Kessler either even though Hardy hates him as a player.

Last year was the most egregious tank in the history of organized sports and you can keep pretending otherwise, I guess.
7 "DNP-Rests" for a 23 year old center trying to earn a big contract extension was a joke.
