but for whatever knee jerk reason people want to move on from Varsho despite that he would’ve had 45+ bombs had he been healthy.
He was one of the most valuable players in the league in 2025 while he was out there, I like to hold onto those players myself
Unfortunately not a MVP after Game 2 of the ALDS at the plate, given his horrific hitting numbers against Seattle and LA. He sucked at the plate at the worst possible time. All your hero had to do was hit a SAC FLY with his supposed "power" in the 9th Inning of Game 7, and he would have been worshipped in this town forever. All he had to do was not go for 0 for 9, and leave a record 13 men on base in Games 6 and Game 7.
Varsho has never hit more than 27 home runs in his career (2022 season). 45 home runs is a tall task, given how cold he gets. He will hit a bunch of homers in a two week span, and then all of a sudden you come on this forum and project a 40 home run season for him. That is what happened in May of 2024 also, when you were projecting 40 homers for him in your posts on this forum, but then your hero went cold for weeks and hit only 18 home runs in all of 2024. Projections mean very little with how Cold of a hitter, and streaky of a hitter your Man Crush Varsho gets.
