This is useless drivel lol. He’s one of the worst finishers in the league. He shoots 2 FT’s a game, congrats.
He’s a lottery pick in his third year and we aren’t even sure if he’s a tier above Jamison Battle who is an undrafted player. That says all we need to know about Gradey’s development from his rookie year until now.
Forgive me for using advanced metrics to illustrate how a player has developed. What you’ve outlined in your response makes a much stronger case as to how he is exactly the same player.
Exact same player is probably unfair on my part but I don’t think it’s too far off, especially if we compare Gradey’s 2nd half rookie szn to now.
I think we can all agree that we thought Gradey would be significantly better than what he is right now, if someone asked us what we thought Gradey would be in his year 3 season, it wouldn’t be this.
Season is still early but at some point you gotta show why you were one of the best shooting prospects to ever come out of a freshmen class. He’s running out of time to prove that. :/
