Onyeka Okongwu: 32pts, 11rbs, 8/14 from 3.
Jalen Johnson: 31pts, 18rbs, 14asts

Big games from the Atlanta frontcourt. They're looking good.

I don't think it's out of the question that Queen will be better than whoever the Hawks draft with the Pelicans 2026 first round pick.

It's not just the pick. It was the lower pick in 2025 (Asa Newell) plus New Orleans 2026 pick for Queen

So it's Jeremiah Fears and Derik Queen vs. Asa Newell and TBD. It's looking good for the Pelicans.

Fears wasn't part of that deal.

Also, the Pelicans traded the Pacers 2026 unprotected pick for the Pacers 2025 pick (no. 23...that's the one the Hawks got).

I like Kon Knueppel during the draft. But he has really exceeded my expectations.

He had 32 today against the Bucks.

Rocco Zikarsky in his G-league debut.

24pts, 7rbs, 11/18fg & 2/3 from 3.

I know it's the G-league, but he'd be a great project big, plus he was there when the Bulls were meant to pick.

I really wanted Zikarsky in the 2nd round.

I did too, I think this FO bet on money and having two rookies scale contracts next off season.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Funny how these things go. VJ Edgecombe was the steal of the draft, now it's Kon. I couldn't possibly tell you who will have the best NBA career, but it seems pretty clear that they both will do just fine.

I expected great things from VJ, he's was my favourite player in the whole draft.

I expected good things from Knueppel. He's done way more than I anticipated. I liked Kon, but thought the Hornets were crazy to take him at #4, I see their reasoning was justified.

Kon was an easy projection to be a better Kevin Huerter. And while I know most think he is just an mid level player for Chicago, he is in my opinion a top 10 non star in terms of impact in the NBA and the Bulls 3rd most important player after Giddey and Matas. Bulls get around 15/4/3 (on/off +7.9) from Huerter and right now Charlotte is getting 18/6/3 (on/off +5.5) from Kon.

Me too.

Have no idea when we need a C why they would go with Aldrich over Rocco.

Billy detractors should watch the Mavs ... now that's a tragically coached team. Let's split the Mavs into two squads, the Bigs being guys over 6' 6" and the Littles being 6' 6" and under. Here were the totals in yesterday's game -

Bigs - 28 shots, 62% shooting percentage
Littles - 73 shots, 38% shooting percentage

I mean, it's just terrible basketball. Iso drive by guards after iso drive by guards.

Honestly watching him down here in the NBL, he was such a pushover.
Watch him likely do nothing significant for the next 10+ games like he did in the NBL.

He was an 18 year old playing amongst men for the first time. He was never going to dominate. He's still learning and developing.

As I said, he'd be a project big, something the Bulls haven't had in a long while.

He may very well become nothing, but he was worth a risk, IMO, especially as a 2nd round pick.

I mean, let's be honest. He's yet again on a team that's horribly built.

I guess the point is even when he's putting up excellent scoring numbers he is still making a bad team worse. That's been the case all his career. At some point you expect him to be a positive with his scoring but he's 30 now. He is what he is.

Create shooter not a great playmaker. He needs to be squads with guys who have more gravity than him.

Which why I thought GS or bucks (over the dame trade) made the most sense.

Wtf were refs doing taking ball away from Vanderbilt after Lakers - Bucks game?! Man they are extremely annoying, their freakish power control has gone overboards a loooot last years. Giannis did awesome thing and provided ball back to Lakers to give it to Thiero.
