The team hasn’t quit on the coach, that’s ridiculous.

The roster was fine last year when we were almost 100% healthy like the whole season… problem was the coach was playing 6-7 man rotations in November.

Tonight we didn’t have OG, Deuce, Shamet… and the dude Leon gifted the full tax MLE to is a no show every night, so we went back to playing 6-7 guys worth a damn tonight.

Only thing ridiculous is your takes about this awful coach. He’s terrible. Our All NBA Bigman quit on him before the season even started and is now having the worst season of his career. You can see the other players quitting in this game which was embarrassing to see. We can’t play any defense. Look like a mediocre team despite the conference getting weaker we somehow got worse. Your coach did that

And the injury excuse doesn’t fly we have played teams game in game out who have been missing their key players. Orlando tonight was without Banchero and Mo Wagner. Cry me a river

And the irony that the coach who kept a short rotation did a better job keeping guys healthy than this guy

None of this makes any sense lol. The medical staff keeps players healthy not the coach. And what are my takes about this coach exactly? Please explain. And what evidence is there about the players quitting other than what you’re manufacturing in your mind to fit your agenda/bias?

Oh now it’s the medical staff who keeps the players healthy? It’s not the coach anymore now the coach is safe? Because of course

We all saw them put their heads down and bow out except you

With that said the sky isn’t falling, there’s issues but you don’t have to blow up the team to correct them. I do wonder if a trade involving the lesser players can get us something to help with defense.

ORRRR we could just play pick and roll with Kat and Brunson , we never saw it

I’m talking about the defense from having both on the same floor.

At least the first game against the Magic you could say it was a second night of a back to back but once the lead hit 10 in the 4th tonight they stopped trying. That just hasn’t been the team for the past 5 years. The sky shouldn’t falling after 15 games but that’s a little alarming.

A year ago on Nov. 23 the Knicks lost to Jazz by 15 giving up 120+ points with KAT shooting 6-19, 1-9 from 3 and being -34 on the court. I'm pretty sure if you go check that post game you will see a lot of complaining about the players, the coach, the offense, the defense and the effort. When is the sky not falling on this board? :D

Ah yes from the defensive end I feel like you have to pair JB with Mikal Mitch and deuce + shamet
For KAT pair him with clarkson hart OG mikal/ Mitch

And yes, injury prevention is literally in the job description of a team’s medical staff lol.

They aren’t even running anymore

He ran them into the ground and it’s not even December. Had them playing fast and wanted to use a deep bench and now you are complaining that the bench sucks. Some more irony

Let’s see so we’ve had Brunson in a boot, OG out for weeks, we ruined KAT, got the team quitting on the floor and we are sitting 5th in a weaker conference making absolutely zero progress and looking worse than last year and you are over here trying to pretend we got better looking like that crazy dog surrounded with fire talking about this is fine

I’m sure I’ll eventually take my few month hiatus from here like I do most years cuz of how we meltdown after losses  idk if I’d consider every bad loss a team quitting on a game. This one looked different to me. Maybe I’m just misremembering last season cuz I don’t remember us not being able to get stops like this. It really seemed like just a towns issue last year but the whole team is struggling to keep people out of the paint. I’m not even 100% sure there’s a scheme fix either, the guys might just be a year older and worse at defense. Which is a lot scarier than blaming brown cuz all these guys are in their primes and shouldn’t be declining already.

When did I say the bench sucks? I said Yabu no shows which everybody knows lol. That’s on Leon. Deuce, Jordan, Shamet, and Hart are good. Rather see Mo, Huk, and even Tosan get more mins… I’m on record saying that.. Kolek too even tho he’s not as good as some thought he could be.

Running players into the ground? This is crazy talk lol… What running players into the ground looks like is us in the Pacers series last season when players like Hart say they ran out of gas and had nothing left, or when Mikal tells the media his body hurts from playing too many minutes…

“One day I’ll be right about something” lol you’re just grasping at straws pulling shyt outta your ass because you’re desperate and crashing out. I was right about Thibs.. they fired him. I was right about trading for Mikal… they did it and extended him :D . Was also right about him performing better under a different coach.

You on the other hand are quite literally wrong about everything lol. You hate Mikal, Deuce, Mitch, the coach… why do you even watch this team? That’s gotta suck to hate everything about the team you claim to be a fan of.. just a miserable existence. Sad

does kat look like the same player from last year ? he's shooting the worst percentages of his entire career by far. worse than his rookie year. 42 percent and 31 from 3. those are cam reddish ass percentages.

Where’s the context tho? He did well with the Lakers his first year… they were like top 5 in the league and .620 win%… the issue the following year was when they got Nash and Howard. Their defense was bad (old slow players and Dwight was playing with a big injury) despite the offense looking good. The Lakers after that were doomed for like the next 8 years.… the real issue was the aging roster.

With the Cavs he was with them for years and took that sorry ass squad with LeBron to the Finals.. he only left there the summer LeBron went to Miami.. they were clearly going into tank/rebuilding mode.

The Kings are the laughing stock of the league and haven’t been relevant for over 20 years but once he got there, he got them to the playoffs, but they’re a really horrible franchise, one of the worst in the league. Dunno what else went wrong there tho..

Not saying he’s without fault, he’s human, and far from perfect, but to blame it all on him? Na, that’s not really fair.

CP made a good point about coaches… you got ones like Mike who’ve been around a while and can end up like a Larry Brown who was good for years, then wins a title, then has a disaster finish and never comes back to the league, and you got ones like Carlisle who was also good for years, then gets fired a few times, then comes back and with the right fit, wins a title and goes on to have more success for years to come. You just never know…

I’d like to think this dude is smart, has a good strategic mind, and is trying out a bunch of new things to see what works… I think he deserves some time. Way too early to tell how this is gunna pan out…

it doesn't matter what you want to try out if you can't guys to compete at a high level with effort. this wasn't a problem before.

I don’t think effort is an issue.. who was the last Knick player to average over 2 steals per game and 1 block per game besides Mikal? That’s effort. So far this is Mitch’s career high in ORB and Hart’s career high in ORB%… these are effort. We’re averaging more blocks, steals, rebounds than we were last year as a team… effort. Brunson is drawing more charges this year too… effort. No?
