You think Dink will be ready to contribute this year? I feel like they won't give him a shot until next year.

A vet like Kyle Anderson would probably be given minutes immediately, especially because he fulfills a need on our team.
I thought we were tying to get more athletic , Id rather not add a "slow mo" to a potentially high octane offense. Team Dink all the way for me.

Reading up about him now. I guess you are right

Gonna see who else is out there who fits and would get minutes for us immediately

This is where we are as Knick fans now. Waiting for low first round picks, 2nd rounders and UDFA guys let go from multiple teams to save us.

JUGGERNAUT!

Get Brook Lopez when the Clippers tear it down.

$8,750,000 - Not sure how they organize a trade.

What can we get for Mitch in a trade?

A young defensive wing who can hit a 3pt?

Doesn't look easy. The Knicks would have to take back as many players as they send out and Yabu and Deuce for Lopes and Paul doesn't work. Also the Clippers are over the first apron, so one would need another team involved. Maybe have to throw in Hart and Bogdanovic, possibly Dadiet and Christie

Yeah, at best there would have to be some Euro rights to make the "2nd player" and even then it seems unlikely. Too bad, he'd be ideal.

NYK: Mitch, Kolek
IND: TJ, Huff

Indy cuts TJ’s longer deal for an expiring in Mitch n young pg in return.

NYK: Yabu, Dadiet
WAS: Cam, Bagley

Toss the Wiz a few 2nd’s for guys who play limited mins and give them a project to take a flier on.. plus it’s two more Frenchies. And they improve the tank..

Maybe Cam can do well here with some fellow Nova guys to mentor him and a chance to play meaningful basketball on a competitive team… same with Bagley who doesn’t look too bad and gives us size at the 4 n can play the 5. Cam gives us another young athletic wing..

Brunson | TJ
Deuce | Clarkson
Mikal | Cam | Shamet | Tosan
OG | Hart | Mo | Jemison
KAT | Huff | Bagley | Huk

That’s much improved depth imo

I hope we keep him.

I don't want to just let him go for free or give him away for picks. But having two super injury prone guys, both whom you absolutely need to win, is not a recipe for success.

It's like trying to win a championship with Joel embiid and Paul George as your two best players. It's impossible because they both will never be healthy for a finals run.

I would not trade OG unless it's in a package for giannis.

Mitch has a contract situation coming up and his health is super unreliable. He should be moved for a young athletic wing who can do what OG does. This way there's always going to be an OG-like player on the court, raising the team's ceiling.

I don’t think we’re going to simply find a place that can do what OG does, and Mitch has impressed the hell out of be so far.
