This likely isn't a valid plan. Ingram's 28 years old, injury-prone and is a known quantity in terms of what we can do. Unless we package him in a deal similar to the disgruntled-Kawhi maneuver (a repeat of which there is no guarantee), there's pretty much no chance we're going to move Ingram for a superstar. He doesn't have that kind of relevance, even if we "pump his value."

I like BI and I'm happy to have him on the team, but if the notion is to try and flip him for a contention-level focal player, you're likely going to be disappointed.

His next step in his game is offensive awareness, which hopefully coaching staff goes over with him in the film room.

He sometimes is too lackadaisical and dribbles high with the ball at the top of the key which allows him to get stripped easily. He doesn't have a great sense of the the help defender coming at him from behind and poking the ball out.

This is pretty much the big game plan the FO has (no tanking, no talent cycling trades for draft assets). It's just Kawhi trade redux. He's basically the carbon-copy of DeRozan for this era. Wait to see if SGA wants to come home. If not, there's always next year.

Sure, but it's a Hail Mary, so I'm not holding my breath. Right now, we just need to try and be as good as we can with the guys we have, while looking for any sort of reasonable upgrade/acquisition options which present themselves along the way. We likely won't be able to rush things. This team is pretty good when healthy, so we'll see how it goes.

He's too thin and frail to play hardcore defense. He is someone I would put up as a candidate to get exposed in the playoffs. He appears to be a very short term piece, he's essentially a better scoring but worse defending Siakam. The trade off we made between the two doesn't make sense at all. Especially if none of the other pieces that came through via Ingram amount to nothing but fringe role players.

I feel like the team used to needed to add Ingram to reign in RJ Barrett, though I now it's a vice versa situation. I think we are seeing that without Barrett, Ingram is taking a few more mid-range shots that we'd like to see. The 20-20-20-20 offense of IQ-RJ-BI-SB thrives together. The Four-Score offense!

RJ Barrett needs to be an option. When either are missing the other tries to do too much.

I think we just need to rein him in a little, because he's overshooting and tiring himself out trying to iso every possession these past couple games. We were all thrilled with him for a long stretch, we shouldn't let this influence us TOO much unless it continues when RJ is back.

But he shouldn’t be the main guy trusted to create advantages. That’s Barnes.

BI needs to sit out and fix/heal whatever is wrong with his ankle. Seems to me that although its not serious, its enough to seriously impact his game.

He’s definitely best catching the ball off a screen. The static ISOs feel like they’ve been less successful for him.

BI is not a fun player to watch. He was always going to be a stopgap solution. We need an actual 1A scorer. How we acquire him, I don't know.

We have to remember that even during BI's peak years, he was no more than a 23 ppg player, expecting anything beyond this and you are setting yourself up for disappointment, he is not a consistent go-to scorer. He's a nice player to keep while we try to keep our heads above water, until we find that go-to scorer.
