Lue is a good coach IMO. He does his best work when the roster is a bunch of hungry, lunch pail types. Balmer's infatuation with trying to be the Lakers is what has held the franchise back.

He simply doesn't have the respect of his peers like that. There are people in that lockerroom that have accomplished more than him. Theres people in that lockerroom he went to play second fiddle to in the middle of his prime and they had the pull to get chris off the team back when he wore his welcome out there too.

He didn't read the room at all. He thought it was 2013 and he was still that guy and he carried himself as such.

Actually makes sense. First I doubt CP was calling out Kawhi .

Harden being shocked and confused makes sense because even if guys were not liking his comments, they were not thinking the team was just going to part ways with him abruptly like that.

They weren't thinking there wouldn't be some sort of team meeting where they tell everyone what's going on as opposed to hearing it on socials.

They all know teams have had conflict before, guys don't just get sent home abruptly because of that, it's not normal. So yea, their comments and what happened can coexist.

I don't really understand what he's trying to say.

Legends get old and they aren't very good anymore. Sometimes they want to do more than they are capable of when they are older.

CP had multiple stops and positively contributed. The other guys he's mentioning, DeRozan and AD aren't really vocal guys, what exactly will also happen to them? CP's situation is about being on a team that has underachieved relative to start of season expectations and not being willing to sit there and say nothing as the ship sank.

Is he saying tthat hey will bounce around until they retire or have a CP like situation which also is related to hanging around really long? Well, I mean that's what happens unless you stay with one team and retire with them or find a solid later career stable situation. I don't get what he means, should teams just keep them even if they are not as effective or don't fit the teams current plans as a means of respect? The players many times don't want to hang around if they can't get to contribute, so it's not even always just about the team.

Beal was supposed to fill Powell's role- I know overly optimistic considering his injury history, but I don't most people expected him to play 6 games, break his hip and miss the rest of the season

Beal was such a waste of a move, a bad replacement and couldnt play for a terrible Suns team. He was forgetable then and even before the injury. I seriously forgot him to compare as replacement for Powell....

The Clippers moves had a best case scenario, moderate case, not so good, and worst case scenario. So far they have gotten the worst, worst case scenario. It was a possibility that some things wouldn't work, but it's been even worse than the projected worst case so far.

That's life, but after getting worst case scenario with Kawhi signing and SGA/PG trade, maybe they were hoping they wouldn't get one this time, but this time the salary and time investments were minimal.

The extra minimum contract paycheck? I think you should think a little more about why he wanted to still play and see why there's an issue because the team is losing.
