Anyone hesitating any more to pay Tucker than they are Bo is crazy. Not many guys in baseball have been as consistent as him over the last 5 years. He has been between a 4.6-5.5 WAR player every season for the last 5 years… and in 2024, that was in just half a season! Dudes lifetime OPS is .865 , he hits both lefties and righties ( slugs over .500 against both too), and he hits both home and away. First half and second half. He steals bases, draws walks and limits his strikeouts. His bat plays in the middle of the lineup every day, and should play for many, many years.

How many years have they been looking for a left handed bat that can actually play in their top 4.

All true but then contrast that by his playoffs numbers that's lower than varsho playoff numbers over almost 80 games. It's not like one bad playoff series or year, it's been consistently bad every year he's been in playoffs.

Do you v want a guy who is only a regular season performer then turns into varsho offensively playoffs, but making 35 mill? I certainly don't want 2 varsho like performers in playoffs

Wonder which other teams are making a strong push for Tucker. There’s always mystery teams involved.
